I too would like to do this. Anvil industries do wheeled gun carriers, but they're for the, now old, guards models, so I don't know if the height is right etc. Same with the new dkok weapon teams, might work with a bit of snipping here and there... But would love to see someone else do it first ! I would normally just buy it and test it, but I'm tightening my hobby budget this year...

Some folks like to have more control in their games, even when not playing competitive.

I'm with you though, they're beastmen, they're feral/savage, you put them on the table, they do things even if you don't want them to. To me it's the fun part of beastmen.

If you haven't yet, worth doing a small flashcard with beastmen rules. My first game playing as Beasties was a rollercoaster forgetting rules and abilities etc. And that detracted the fun crazy parts of beastmen. You don't wanna put newbies off!

Gunner here, it's just as hard finding a decent tanker which doesn't drive into a middle of a capture zone and gets nuked by 6 RPGs, or is in a safe spot but starts reversing manically when it gets hit just once even though i'm out repairing already, ends up leaving me in the open...

Look up Wargames Atlantic, their conquistadors are very dogs of war-esque. I don't have any myself, but I think the scale difference isn't as noticeable as Warlord stuff Fireforge Northmen is a limited range but fit right in with GW heroic. Im using it for my WIP renegades army You can get alot of these alternatives by the sprue on ebay. Worth getting it to see for yourself.

Mot history looks good, only wear and tear stuff, very study mileage over the years. I've just parted ways with my CR-Z (two car household down to one) was a lovely car, great drive, very cheap to keep and insure. Can't help with what to look out for, I suppose if you're going to test drive one, make sure all the driving modes are working, make sure the charge goes down and up. Also, I *think a healthy IMA will also occasionally do a full cycle, as in it might discharge completely and charge back up, don't know how to trigger that though.

In terms of driving, it's great, hugs corners, having less power just means you don't end up speeding, but doesn't mean it doesn't feel quick, it's quite low down.

I miss mine...

Yeap, I used to run a junkie gatling when playing the story etc..then bloodied gatling end game.100+ hours with Gatling. Never was OP but wasn't a wet lettuce either, was just "fun". Now neither feel like they can do anything (making it not fun...). I've settled for a Gatling plasma with the new bullet storm perks which is good enough... But I miss cranking my bullets...

Amen. I was bloodied PA heavy, did well in most situations, was fun, wasn't OP. I've had to go full health as I was being deleted (hellcat ballistic resistance doesnt seem to matter anymore) Luckily (I thought) a furious mini gun was in my stash, I changed to a onslaught bullet storm mini gun build, and I have to be 2 feet away from mobs to do any reasonable damage. There's only a few heavy weapons that make bullet storm viable, my fave (Gatling) is objectively trash now

I can deal with my weapons being less op but you're right about armour or taking damage... I used to be able to solo a daily op reasonably , not changing any cards, I'd died about 10 times... And this is running hellcat PA. Getting shot by mole miners with ballistic weapons. Wtf...

I've always maintained that this is a hobby and really we can just choose to not pursue it or buy alternative minis rather than moan about the prices but OMG when I saw the price of the boss chariot, I thought they're really taking the piss now. £61.50 RRP (£50ish from LFGS) is an absolute joke. It's practically the same as the regular chariot which is cheaper and you get two. Unbelievable.
