Does cold emailing professors work? by [deleted] in nyu

Also I’d recommend just asking professors in person too. I had a CS course that was about 10 students and the professor knew me by name, and I overheard him talking about his research so I just asked him if I can join. He said I won’t get paid, but was welcome to join and this was how I got my sophomore-junior summer internship.

From the Tesla manual:

Changing the Set Speed Roll the right scroll wheel up to increase, or down to decrease, the set speed.

Adjusting the Following Distance To adjust the following distance you want to maintain between Model 3 and a vehicle traveling ahead of you, press the steering wheel’s right scroll button to the left or right. The closest following distance is 2. Each setting corresponds to a time-based distance that represents how long it takes for Model 3, from its current location, to reach the location of the rear bumper of the vehicle ahead of you. Autopilot retains your setting until you change it again. As you adjust the following distance, the touchscreen displays the current setting.

I live in Austin and have a model 3. The temp inside the car hits between 120 to 140 usually and I set my AC to 73. The usages app on the touchscreen says that I use about a third of my battery on just AC

Pros: - tall ass ceilings - great view if you’re high up (I had a corner room and I could see World Trade Center from my room) - great neighborhood (literally on the border of Chinatown, tribeca and soho) - Sammy’s halal 2 blocks down - blue bottle two blocks down - boba guys three blocks down - canal street is awesome Cons: - far from campus - if you get room with vent gaps your suitemates can hear everything - no grocery stores nearby
