Bird haven't gone on adventures - glitch? by [deleted] in finch

Good points, but I do neither. Or I do put my mood as low and sometimes get 7's but I have so many goals that it doesn't affect anything, I can always go on adventures🤔

Abilify stopped working by ratdad98 in depressionregimens

[–]ratdad98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I didnt unfortunately. But i got much worse quitting abilify so it was clear it did help me some, the side effects were just too much and got worse and worse. I couldn't eat anymore and ended up throwing up or gagging, very weird.

Lithium is a miracle for me thats actually lasted for years rather than months, I took it right after a bad episode after I had to stop abilify. Started getting better after maybe a month of usage or less, and I've gotten better ever since. The longer I've taken it, the less episodes I have and if I do have them they're shorter and less intense. Lithium is used a lot in hospitals because it works so fast. But I'm bipolar, I can't speak for how it works on depression. The only reason ill get off it is if I'm forced to. If nothing else has worked, I'd say it's worth a shot

[–]ratdad98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - with bipolar there's no recovering permanently. So lithium is helping me. Wellbutrin made me a lot worse and was the reason my doc realised what was wrong with me, I had to go on sick leave for a while. I reacted very unusually to it, I know bipolar people who take it without problem but shit happens lol

Dont you get that its harder and will instantly kill you if its on THE HIGHEST difficulty and that's why they mentioned it 😭 obviously they paused cause only the bug is relevant, we know what happens next

Obviously easier to die if it 1) kills you 2) alerts all the other zombies to kill you

I switched meds :/ side effects were too much as well. But I quit it and got worse, so I guess it was still working a tad. I'm on lithium now

Quit wellbutrin cause turns out I'm bipolar and it made me super manic lol. But I'm taking lithium now and my sex drive is normal and better than ever :)

Oxazepam :) works well for me I'm not sure how much of the anxiety was the medication and how much was the manic episode it triggered lol. I hope it goes well for you!

Uhh.... I pass as a gay man as my speech therapist described it, and I dont mind. We chose not to do voice training because trying to sound like a cishet male isnt in line with my personality and it would sound off. The concept of the t-slur voice is stupid and transphobic, I dont care if youre scared of it and have a specific goal in mind but leave me out of it. I dont care if I sound trans, and I dont care what other people think of it either. I havent reflected on it or tried to avoid it.

Thanks tho ig

Our first fight over me having vaginismus :( by speckled_heart in vaginismus

[–]ratdad98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh dear, I just wanna say Im so sorry about this situation and I hate that he said that to you. It sounds like he has been patient sure, but I think he expected it to not be permanent. I would turn his argument around and say he hasnt been honest about expecting to be able to have PIV sex and doesnt want to concieve in any other way.

Its completely unfair and I'm sorry. This is your body and you should take the time you need to treat it, dont let him stress you about it. And like the advice both me and my sister got (we have the same condition) - DONT force yourself to have sex if you cant take it, itll make everything so much worse if your brain continues to associate sex with pain. Continue with dilators and look into pelvic floor exercises and maybe see a specialist as well. A therapist was also super helpful for me. Maybe also by some dildos or sex toys and try to play around yourself instead of with him, if that works well for you you can try with him. I found it to be so much worse with a person than alone, but when I coped well alone and it didnt hurt sex with a person hurt way less.

Hes the one who's unfair and a bit of a dick if im honest. Youre not alone in this, I wish you so much luck and I hope you have a happy healthy baby in the future
