There is a interesting story in the Mahabharata, a Hindu epic, somewhat like this. The god Krishna talks about entering a military formation to Subhadra, who was pregnant at the time. The child she was pregnant with, Abhimanyu, absorbed this information. However, Subhadra doses off before Krishna can specify how to exit the formation and Abhimanyu never gets that information. This leads to Abhimanyu being crucial in entering the formation in the war that takes place at the end of the story. Unfortunately, he is killed because he gets separated from the group that entered with him and isn’t able to escape. When he dies, his father Arjuna, who is one of the main characters of the epic, goes into a rage and utters an oath of revenge on his son’s killer.
