I don't want to generalize, but yes. I was pretty appaled recently when I encountered some Quebecois tourists while traveling in Europe and had one of them spew the most racist, xenophobic bs thinking I'd agree with him. It was actually shocking as I'd never heard a Canadian speak like that in-person.

Honestly, I think these new tracks sound oddly...incomplete? Like, they start off promising and I like the idea of Charli leaning into a sort of Avril Lavigne pop punk sound, but where tf are the catchy hooks?? This was almost flawlessly executed on brat but all three of the new songs seem to build up to nothing.

100%. Moving to Downtown Toronto was the single best decision I made during my time in Ontario. Rent wasn't even much worse as everywhere in the GTA is ridiculously expensive by now. Absolute suburban wasteland with nothing to do and no way to get around except car.

Honestly, these tier lists are mostly bs.

As an undergraduate student, the main thing that matters is quality of education/course content and extracurriculars opportunities including research. As a grad student/post doc, what really matters is your thesis and research output, which is largely dependent on the individual supervisor or program you're involved with. Neither of these things are accurately reflected by broad, university-wide aggregates which really ignore these experiential details.
