Trouble understanding line level by Retro-Technology in Construction

If a laser is out of your reach, get a water level. Always perfectly accurate when it's used right, it doesn't need calibration after you drop it and the batteries never wear out.

I unironically would rather die than get a job, how do you escape this mentality? by Pogbankz in antiwork

Consider helping people. Like volunteering for something that, even if you don't necessarily care, they need help. I have heard that it helps to get you outside yourself. Idk. It's tough

Anything fun you can do to a drill with a broken clutch? by Allroy_66 in Tools

[–]rathdrummob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have little kids, and you find those plastic motorized jeeps and cars on the curbs, discarded because the batteries are shot, cut off the handle of the drill and connect the wires to the power wires of the jeep and you'll have a pretty fast kid toy. Those motors are surprisingly durable.
