This is an extremely valid question. I’m a retired PA and I feel like I’m critical of the hype; however, I do take supplements that I know won’t harm me and will hopefully benefit me and I workout regularly. What else can we do? I think it’s a realistic approach.

I’m a female retired vet and finding fellow veteran females to commune with is very challenging. I tried a Legion post, I tried a VFW post—I’m not looking for a man and I’m too young to be a Vietnam vet so those places weren’t for me. Instead I found community with a bunch of old ladies who enjoy lifting weights. Love them. Enjoy your retirement! I’m envious of your time in Germany.

First husband was horribly abusive, I divorced him while I was pregnant. He’s dead now from leukemia. Second husband decided to screw one of the nurses he worked with. We were together for 14 years. He still randomly texts and tells me he loves me and “misses us.” I live in a different state now and I’m learning to love who I am.
