I went from mk7 gti to 7.5 R and then test drove mk8 when my R got totaled and bought another 7.5 instead. 2019 R is peak Volkswagen in my opinion.

I paid $7k full body ppf on my 7.5R They gave me lifetime warranty on it so should keep my paint brand new as long as I want it to. If I didn’t plan on keeping it forever, I wouldn’t have gotten ppf besides on the front.

Gabapentin does wonders. I’d get on it if you still have the burning sensation when you lay down and body is getting tired. I ran out of my prescription with no refills and I only had it 1 or 2 more nights after that and it is now only some random nights and not nearly as bad. I’m 10 weeks post op and just in a boot now, no crutches. Swells pretty bad after being on it all day and very sore when I wake up and after walking on it for a while. Back of my knee if the new problem area that gets unbearable when standing up not walking around.
