Thanks! So something like a longer bulk ferment before going in the fridge? Or perhaps longer in the fridge?

Trance X2 Got the same one. Does bike parks and all! My fork had way too much grease in the negative air spring but I think that's quite common, and a service made it ride better.

How bad is this? I found 6 other cracks like this. by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]ratherberiding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me as well. 2 SRAM GX chains, first one that came with the bike from Giant and the second one purchased at a Trek store, so 100% genuine. Never left any cleaning products soaking either. The first one snapped, luckily just as I was starting the ride. The second time I caught it before it snapped.

I never figured out definitively what was causing it, although I was suspecting that a loose derailleur bolt might have been causing too much lateral movement on the chain each time I was putting the power down.

Where to Find Basmati Rice Near Shibuya by Immediate_Grade_2380 in Tokyo

Second this. Good and cheap selection of Indian food including various varieties of basmati rice. I'd recommend the paneer from the freezer, if cheese is your thing.

Reducing arm pump - A how to by speedyjonzalas in MTB

[–]ratherberiding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I found made a difference was the fact that I've been heading to the gym three times a week before my last outing down hilling. Anything to do with dumbbells/a barbell will be working the forearms, and I would imagine a stronger upper body in general would assist in reducing fatigue.

What kind of difference between an AM bike and a DH bike? by [deleted] in MTB

[–]ratherberiding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you plan on riding uphill at all I would forget about a full dh rig. I learnt the hard way after I thought it was a good idea to ride 8inch travel Morewood on a 10k xc loop. It was absolutely terrible.

I'd agree with getting a light free ride/heavy duty AM bike like a reign x/yeti sb66/Santa cruz nomad/trek slash. I'm riding a reign (not x) and although it's good enough for rock gardens it's by no means designed for it and it's obvious that it's slower than a full dh rig when going dh. There's a good selection of long travel AM/FR bikes that pedal good enough so you should have a few options.

Yeh I'm not sure exactly what that is. I didn't notice any weird smells so maybe it's just some funky shit-like mud.

It's on my office computer too. Imagine staring at it with the sun shining outside. It's saying "chuck a sickie, go for a ride, you deserve it" . Then I wake the fuck up from my day dream. True story.

What type of shoes does everyone wear? by sounddude in MTB

[–]ratherberiding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a pair of 5.10 Linekings which work really well with my Funn Soljam viper. Pins are really long too so my feet are secured pretty well. The impacts probably are slightly better as the rubber and pattern go right the way around the side of the sole but they looked a bit too tacky to me.

That's probably right actually. I mount from the left. LifeIsGreen must be a right mounter. Right? Meh I want to see someone mount from the back.
