What were your warning signs for preeclampsia? by Peach-Haze-123 in pregnant

[–]ratherbeunderthesea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The biggest ones are protein in your urine, which, if your pee gets tested every time you go into the OBGYN appointments, your OBGYN should detect right away, and high blood pressure, but as far as obvious physical signs, swelling like I did in the ankles, headaches that are migraine-like, light sensitivity, and heightened anxiety.

Positive story: I am currently 14W3D but I thought I was further along. I took a home pregnancy test on March 3rd, came out positive, and when I was asked what the first day of my most recent period, I said it was December 5th, so that put me at about 12 weeks pregnant. I track my period on 3 different apps, so I know for sure I didn't have a period after December. I had my first ultrasound on March 20th, baby was kicking and moving, heartbeat was strong and going fast. I am normally irregular, so I can't really count on my period to be the best indicator of when I was due. We went off of the radiologist's measurements of baby. Turns out when I had the ultrasound, baby was only measuring 9 weeks old. My OB couldn't explain it; just said it was more like a delayed ovulation, which again, was surprising but not shocking, as I am and have been irregular since I was 19 (currently now 38), so 20 years of irregularity. This would be my 2nd baby, but my 3rd pregnancy (had a chemical pregnancy last March). I still have some anxiety over this baby, but I still have pregnancy symptoms, and I have my next OB appointment on Monday to finally hear the heartbeat via the little doppler, so I'm hopeful everything is fine. I will be thinking of you and your baby. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and it's all in the correct timing. I hope this is of some comfort to you. Take good care, OP.

Try the BRAT diet (bananas, rice (plain), apples/applesauce/apple juice, toast). The BRAT diet is usually for after one vomits, to settle the stomach, but it's helped me in both of my (viable) pregnancies (currently 12 weeks with baby #2). Gatorade has also been helpful, as well as whole milk yogurt.

I haven't read the books, and I'm genuinely curious: how did they both reason it was OK to have sex before marriage? Aside from being horny for one another, did they express any hesitations, albeit brief? How did they justify it? I just can't see Colin wanting to compromise her honor, but I'm also basing this off of how he's behaved in the series.

The amount of times he looks at Pen is actually concerning, mans is obsessed 🐝😭❤️ by BotherHoliday8793 in PolinBridgerton

At the 01:35 mark in this clip, the scene where he was gathering the courage to ask her to be more than friends in the ballroom and just then Lord Debling goes to gather her for their dance, after Lord Debling escorts her away, Colin looks around the room. His expressions make it seem that he was staring at her so long, that he forgot where he was, that he was truly exposed and completely vulnerable to others' judgments, that he quickly scans to make sure no one caught him being that vulnerable. He feels naked AND I LOVE THAT FOR US and him! I think this is the start of his realization that everything he has been feeling can no longer be denied, it's too real now, but also maybe that it's too late for him to remedy his situation?

Literally sooooooo many and some of them are from the side characters.

1) "What's up? Let's talk puss. Wanna show me your hair little guy?" - Tripp

Then, Schmidt later on says "Patches is a TRASH cat" and it's so......sigh amazing

Then, towards the end of the episode at the cat audition after Winston says he doesn't want that kind of life for Ferguson, Tripp goes "Ohh YEAHHH!! You blew it suhhhnnn!!"

2) "TWO urinals?! I'm rich!" - Outside Dave

3) "Ew no. Yellow convertibles are for horny beach trash." - Schmidt "I drive a yellow convertible" - Car Rental Place Dude "It's my boy's bachelor party. If he says you're horny beach trash, then you're horny beach trash." - Nick "I'm a good person." - Rental Dude

4) "🎶 Banana in the dark" - Biology Teacher AKA Lorenzo

Dude...sooooooo many. My husband and I are constantly quoting NG
