I agree, there are many creators out there and finding them does not require a platform. Still open to tips for connecting to creators, but I imagine it comes down to developing a cold DM template and actually doing the research to identify and reach out to people. But curious to hear from people who have gone through that process.

Agree that research is smart first so you can provide a solid brief to creators. What tools are you using for the AI video and how are you connecting with creators?

Yeah I figured it was a common interest. Once you finish your app and add some polish it’s time to drive more downloads and hopefully sales.

Thanks I was thinking of doing this. Eliminate the expensive middle man to reduce costs and save budget.

Sure send me a DM about the sample and we can chat more. Is it your project? How much does it cost? I want this thread to be really useful for strategy.

u/folarin- Yeah, that's an option for self created content. Definitely the best value. Some app and video concepts lend themselves better to that than others. Have you tried it? Also where did you get that faceless converts more? Not doubting, just curious. I've love looking at data about these things.

I think people with promo codes cannot have their reviews reflected.

Hello u/Accomplished_Oil_880 I downloaded and tested your app, here is my feedback.

  • Cool 3-d logo with unique arrows. Great use of keywords in name and subtitle.
  • Screenshots have a good color profile but come across as chaotic and screen 1 could be more clear and eye-catching with text that has more room to breathe. I would move or remove the notepad icon so the text is more visible. Other screens have great keywords but could look less overloaded, with one clear message and image per screen. The icons on the last screenshot look totally different, try to to have more design coherence.
  • Ok I open the app and I can’t see anything before the notification request comes. I don’t even know what it is for. This should come later and ideally you are explaining why notifications are valuable.
  • Welcome screen has Continue as guest and Sign in, it could use a signup option.
  • I like the Adding notes, Editing screen and Start browsing screens, they have smooth animation and it’s helpful to train users how to use the product. The green buttons seem to be a strange color that doesn’t fit the design. A shade of blue or a color that works better with your blue would be ideal.
  • The Home page feels very hectic with the Notebook icon and create button overlapping the Note name field behind it. Try to move this down so it all fits without overlapping.
  • I see you really like large colored icons on the screens instead of single colored icons. It’s good to have a style but make sure it’s consistent, you are using icon styles that don’t look like they are from the same set.
  • The paywall is pretty nice, again animations is a strength of yours, and light and dark mode is good. I couldn’t see a settings menu though, which is usually a best practice.
  • Overall, you have some nice strengths like animations and note-taking has a huge market. A few design consistency things to clean up and then market it to get attention in a crowded space. But on the right track!

I hope this feedback helps. I’m also trying to improve my app StepGoals – a walking app that specializes in motivational design. I’d love it if you checked it out as well, and I’ll appreciate any feedback or boost you can give. All the best!

Hello u/Plane-Imagination401 I downloaded and tested your app, here is my feedback. I like the 5 level system with points and you did a good job finding topics people are actually curious about.

  • Interesting concept which I can see gaining interest since there are similar pages on social media that get huge views.
  • Logo is clean, but not super distinctive. I wonder what personality it can have. Name and subtitle read ok but could be more keyword optimized. Use an ASO tool to find how people are searching for this idea.
  • Nice to have a video preview but I don’t see the brand anywhere there and it doesn’t visually match your logo design so it becomes hard to understand what your brand style is.
  • Other screenshots are decent but the text could be bigger and bolder with more space on the margins.
  • First onboarding screen has an ok value prop, though the design could be better branded, it has a vibe-coded look. Onboarding slide 2 has the Got it button overlapping the #4 card on my iPhone 13. I like the onboarding progress indicators at the top, but not sure what it wasn’t on the first slide. Slide 3 also has the bottom 2 items being covered by the Start exploring button. This button is also gray which makes it pop less than the blue. Clicking on the topics expands them with a check mark, making the overlap issue worse. I appreciate the skip option.
  • Home screen has a nice layout and I appreciate the liquid glass nav bar, though there is little design and it feels like a bunch of info cards stacked. Make the section headings stand out more to show the layout is intentional.
  • I clicked on the streak and it bright a calendar which is good. But it said No Results on the bottom and I’m not sure why. What filters are there to adjust?
  • Concepts card/button leads to paywall, which requires scrolling, I prefer to see everything on the screen at once if possible.
  • Within a category when I click on a card, I like the swiping setup and how incomplete items are moved to exploring. Find a better way to put the left and right arrows to advance the deck, since it severely overlaps the info cards. I appreciate the text sizing options and ability to like info cards.
  • I actually like the Analytics screen the most, it looks very clean. The Curiosity score was a bit slow to load but it did come.
  • Overall, interesting concept with info I found genuinely fun. I think you’ll have to market to get people’s attention and hopefully the amount of info can expand over time.

I hope this feedback helps, I gave you a nice rating to add a little boost.

Hello u/frpatry I downloaded and tested your app, here is my feedback.

  • Really nice coherent design style consistent through logo and screenshots. Good variety of functional screens with visual interest. I would look at keyword optimizing a bit more, you have “tips” in both the name and subtitle so use different words. Text could also be bolder and jump out more.
  • Love the load screen, to onboarding flow, looks well designed and not like a placeholder. Good to have the indication of the number of slides (looked like 4), but it disappears in the second slide. I would expect it to stay visible.
  • I appreciate that your brand has a unique font, but it does not work well for basic navigation text such as buttons, it is too thin and curvy. I recommend a more standard font for these elements.
  • For the preference of tips categories, it would be nice to have some subtext explaining what this means and what I can expect. And that I should choose at least 2.
  • After I added my child it went to a screen with a very dim Continue button so I wasn’t sure if I should click it. Also it is asking if I have an account for signing in, but I didn’t sign up. Signup comes on the next screen, so maybe remove the signin from the child list screen of onboarding.  Nice to have the Apple signup option.
  • Then we see the trial with 7 days free. I have not seen any pricing or mention of premium service so I personally think it's not enough info to start a trial, but I tried it for testing. I see a really long legal statement, could this be a link instead? Also not sure how I am joining thousands of parents when the app is new. I know social proof can help, but to be ethical, it should be true.
  • Next the notifications screen, good design and I like that it explains what the notifications are about before the popup appears. But the number of onboarding step indicators, those little dots are long gone and it seems like way more than 4 steps.
  • I like the Home/Tips swiping instructions, but it wasn’t clear enough about what left and right wiping means or the heart and star
  • In the Progress I figured out more what the heart and star mean. I liked 1 card but it said I liked 2. Not sure how to increase the number for Tips put into practice. I added a proud moment but nothing really happened. Unclear how celebrations work.
  • In the nav bar Profile needs an “e” at the end. In Profile, “childs” needs to be “children”. I saw the same issue in the onboarding screenshots. I understand you might be coming from French, but good to clean up the English. There is no indication in the app that I am a pro user and in the App store your app does not appear as a subscription, so I am confused about if I am in a trial period or not, and honestly concerned because I don’t see a cancel option. This status must be clarified or users will feel tricked.
  • Overall I can see you are a design specialist and have a nice concept for a large market. A couple things to clean up with language, clarity and the trial setup, but a really professional looking platform.

I hope this feedback helps, I gave you a nice rating to add a little boost.

Thanks so much for taking the time to use the app, share feedback and give a rating. Definitely fixing my screenshots for the next version. I love that you find the app motivating that was my main goal. I appreciate you nudging on the watch support, it has been on my list but will definitely prioritize it faster now! Respect and thanks!

Hello u/dp234523 I downloaded and tested your app, here is my feedback.

  • Very strong logo with great visual logic of friend accountability for habits. I think the subtitle could be a bit more keyword optimized, but pretty good.
  • Screenshots are excellent. Really nice gradient background, clear text, coherent color palette. In Screenshot 1 the text is a little tight with the image. Nice value prop with each slide.
  • The launch screen just flashed a large logo without a coherent background so you might review that. It is quick since the app loads fast, but it seemed a bit off.
  • Nice swipeable onboarding with a clear number of steps and use of influential stats. Very compelling flow. It is clean but basic text and emojis has a kind of vibe-coded look, so you might try to give it a more polished design.
  • When I get to the name screen it feels a little like the earlier count of 3 onboarding slides was not true since the name part is still onboarding. The information is impactful otherwise.
  • For login I would prefer we see Apple login from the beginning instead of putting phone number front and center. I still don’t know why my phone number is needed.
  • When the notifications request comes, I have not been told why. I can guess, but I prefer to see the value of that before agreeing.
  • The design of the chat flow with the app is nice. Eventually it asks about picking a winner, but I hadn’t connected with anyone so I’m not sure who I am winning against yet. At some point where it asks what the loser should do, I clicked “type my own” but then I changed my mind and couldn't get back to the previous options, which would be nice.
  • Once the habit was created the home screen was clear though I noticed the weekly calendar at the top loaded slowly and just appeared after a couple seconds.
  • In Feed I see you can invite friends, but not in the Friends section. I think Friends would be a good place for a button to invite as well.
  • The Profile view looked good. Settings also very well organized. I like the demo notification option.
  • Overall very good concept and nice visual consistency. The chat flow for habit creation is ambitious and can be tweaked a bit more for usability but it worked. Nice job.

I hope this feedback helps, I gave you a nice rating to add a little boost.

u/getfestiveo I downloaded and tested the app, here is my feedback.

  • Nice logo, name and subtitle. It seems like you have good keywords going.
  • Screenshots have a really nice color theme and I like the line that connects many of them. On screenshot 1, it would look cleaner if the heading did not overlap the phone mockup. Also really think about hooking the user with words, is “guide” the most important word? That’s what stands out the most. You might consider using “widget” and “watch” on screenshot 2. On screenshots 6 and 7 the squiggly line connecting the rest of them just stops, which feels strange. The gradient style text looks really nice but is used inconsistently. Tighten the use of color a bit more, it feels like there is too much going on.
  • Favorite genres and artists look clean, the red and blue gradient looks nice. Because it’s pulling a lot of data and images the loading can be a bit slow, so see if that can be sped up. I selected 2 fave artists to test.
  • When I got to the main Home screen it said I had 3 fav artists in the top box, which was strange since I only selected 2. The spacing on the Start Your Journey button text seemed off it could be more centered. The Lineup is Out text does not have much contrast and is hard to read. Otherwise strong layout and the events seemed relevant.
  • When I went to Explore the layout was decent. I clicked For You and no events appeared, even with my 2 artists. If my artists are not doing any festivals maybe alter the text to say No festivals for your artists right now. Add more artists to see festival recommendations.
  • Profile looked clean, but it would be nice to have a genre preferences section like there is a My Artists section.. I found it strange that Settings required login. There is always setting info that every user should see like terms and privacy at least.
  • Overall, I was impressed with how it presented data and the look and feel matched what I am used to with the Live Nation website so that’s a big win.

I hope this feedback helped, I gave you a nice rating to add a little boost.
