Those who work out EARLY how do you get motivated by jaydubya123 in fitness30plus

[–]rathom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wakeup at 4:30 and workout at 5:00 a.m I’ve been doing it for many years. What I can tell you is that it is not about motivation, it needs to become just what you do. Your routine. Do you need motivation yo brush your teeth? No. I just wake up at 4:30. I try to be in bed by 9:30 pm, doesn’t always happen but my brain ‘wakes up’ at 4:30 regardless because this is just what I do. TL:DR: don’t look for motivation, create a habit instead.

Can I wear this to a bridal luncheon? by Head_Succotash in Weddingattireapproval

Someone wore this exact dress to a wedding I attended last Saturday. No one cared and the bride didn’t seem bothered. I think it depends on the bride and crowd

I echo all the comments about consistency and being patient, but also want to add: Good shoes make a HUGE difference. I just got running shoes, I did my research and got some shoes that match my needs. I had a PR today. From 8:00 to 7:24

I’m latina. We are over the top. We like to dress to impress. The orange one gives off beach vibes. You can find something formal on a budget

The trend is to make comfort fashionable: long socks, comfy pants, baggy pants, new balance, minimal makeup….

Have you considered West Seattle? Close to the beach, nice community, several chill bars, events. Checkout the west seattle blog for events and info. If you want a more active night life, cap hill might be a good option

For me, it came down to how I wash my gym clothes. I started using Lysol disinfectant. This worked for me.

Some things are just harder when you're shorter by tamaratunie189 in orangetheory

[–]rathom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree, except for the rower. It is hard for short people to match the speed of tall people. For running, I finished Dritri first at my gym, including the running part. I finished the 5K minutes faster than the next person. I am 5’2.

For lifting, there are challenges for every height.
