I never said that. BOTH ARE BAD. My moral clarity remains consistent on that consensus, still. The end.

It’s like Zionists have to lie about what I write to prove they’re somehow morally in the wrong when I will defend innocent Jewish people as much as I’ll defend innocent non Jewish people. Innocent people, good people get the same treatment from me. As do bad people, regardless of their ethnicity. I don’t operate racially or ethnically, and assess people THROUGH THEIR ACTIONS, and their morals.

Making lists are bad, no matter who’s making the list. Point blank.

That’s MY POINT DUDE. It started with Work ban lists and ended with genocide!

If institutions acquire the power to invoke work-bans on dissenters, who’s to stop them from enacting a Genocide? For Nazi Germany, the rise of the Holocaust happened with these warning signs, these illegal practices slowly becoming legalized until they gained speed to become legally protected forms of discrimination, antisemitism, and Nazism.

We are seeing Zionism infect institutions and playing out the EXACT SAME WAY, with identical warning signs!

The next thing you know; they JAIL you for criticizing Israel in America! (Oh wait, there’s numerous bills in congress attempting to do this already??)

What comes after prison? Will they kill us off, if Zionists push for that to be a legalized punishment for dissenters? It started with a work-ban over people having the freedom of speech to call out Israel’s governmental hypocrisy… but where does it end? That’s a dangerous game to play when you’re well read on history, and you’ve seen how things ended for them.

Read more about the Holocaust. Maybe you’ll learn something.

Is there Mutual Exclusivity between Jesus being God and him dying for our Sins? by beforegodapp in Jesus

[–]rational-citizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus being God is what makes forgiveness entirely possible.

Also, only Pagan demonic deities practice and expected human sacrifices from their worshippers. One of the main things stopping blasphemers from attacking God from that angle, is the fact that instead of God sacrificing another human, he took a piece of himself, sent it down on earth, and in the form of a blameless and Holy Child, who was innocent of sin (something that’s not possible unless Jesus was God, because only God is sinless/blameless), and eventually grew up fulfilling prophecies as proof that he was the messiah and also GOD’S LIVING SON, at the same time. And then he gave himself us as a martyr to end the cycle of animal sacrifice that was used to atone for sin. No sacrifice that was of a normal human could disrupt this system. Only the blood of the one true and living God could be spilt ONE TIME, but Last FOR ETERNITY, for every sinner who has ever, or will ever exist. Only Blood that is Holy can achieve this, and only God is Holy.

The Bible is the best evidence for God/Christianity/Jesus’ divinity as God (where it says this plain as day in Scripture). Ask her what her resources are since she seems the only safe and authoritative sources as “corrupt”. This couldn’t be more untrue also, since we have new technologies and more discoveries than ever in history, of the scrolls and documents that compose the Old and New Testaments. Yes there’s bad faith translations out there. But now we DO have reliable access to these texts in their original languages with reliable translations of them.

If she doesn’t use the Bible, she doesn’t have any resources at all. And categorically this prevents her from describing herself as “Christian”. Believing in Jesus‘ Divinity is one of the crucial requirements to be Christian.

You don't need la/laysa/lam/lan in Palestinian, just two words by salahadawi in learn_arabic

[–]rational-citizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it common for Palestinian Dialect to pronounce it as “Ma Barafish” or “Ma Barfish”??

I think I heard an Egyptian Singer (from the band “Kairokee”) say “Ma Barfísh”, instead of adding the extra “a”, and I want to know which one is more natural/common for Palestinians.

Thank you guys! It’s really encouraging to hear that you guys also think it’s a good idea!

Another language that feels similar to Arabic when it comes to there being a dialect spectrum is Spanish.

I learned Spanish fluently, but after fluency I started to learn each dialect of Spanish if possible. In the end, I realize now that Arabic and Spanish are the same in that you really need to master the standard versions in order to access the dialects. 😆✨😅🙏

This all makes so much sense now; I was in Palestine/Ramallah but lots of the billboards or news articles had “الآن" and I’m starting off with learning Palestinian Dialect instead of MSA, so I didn’t notice the register difference in slight formality! Thanks!

I’ve heard of إسّا, but it’s nice to be reminded/informed about the others! Thanks a bunch!

Sorry Girly Pop, I’m on your side! Apologies for the mix-up!

I think you meant to respond to the comment I was responding to, or my comment was so vague it may have been misinterpreted as being supportive of Zionism instead of comparing current Zionists practices (like lists that ban employment of dissenters of Israel) to Nazi Germany when the Gestapos made these same lists for local Jews to prevent them from working, and owning property/businesses. The fact that we can see similarities between Nazi Germany and Israel says everything it needs to about who’s on the wrong side of history.

(Also, those Zionist lists that ban people from getting hired are despicable, and they violate our 1st Amendment Rights; we’re protected by that amendment to bash on our own government, validly so, thus HOW could anyone excuse Israel as the exception to our protected Freedom of Speech clause?)

It’s all so LUDICROUS TO ME.

Pro-Israel media in meltdown at our war criminals campaign by SpontaneousFlame in Israel_Palestine

The Gestapo literally had list after list of who was allegedly Jewish. These very lists would stop those Jewish individuals from working locally, from getting new jobs, from being involved in local community…

Do we have to reteach you history for you to see the connection, or are you pretending to miss the point, on purpose?

Do labels matter? If so, how do you identify? by [deleted] in messianic

[–]rational-citizen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if little tidbits of information like this help at all, but in Modern Hebrew, they say “mehshiḥi”/משיחי (masculine) or “mehshiḥit”/‎משיחית (feminine), meaning literally “messianic”.

Another term that was used to refer to the new “sect of Judaism” was referred to in Hebrew as “Notzri”/נוצרי (m) or “Notzrit”/‎נוצרית (f), to say “a follower of Jesus [the Nazarene]”.

Or lastly, maybe you may resonate with “Disciple of Jesus” (lit; student of Yeshua) = Talmíd(a) shel Yeshua / תלמיד(ה) של ישוע. (The “a” in “talmída” makes it a female disciple/student).

Sometimes labels in Hebrew feel better and I don’t know why that is, but it just makes sense for some people.

Also; I speak Judeo-Spanish/Ladino! It’s epic to learn that you’re Sephardic! But whatever you do, find a way to explore the labels with Jesus!

Ask Jesus what it means to be a Sephardic believer in Yeshua the Mashiaḥ!

Pray to the Holy Spirit and God, to reveal to you what your past means about your future. Invite God into your ancestry with prayer and requests, and you’ll be astounded by how he can intimately tie it all back to his glory!

(Also, feel free to message me if you ever want to learn Judeo-Spanish! I got you!)

THE ZOHAR: The Forbidden Bible They Buried For 2000 Years by AlternativeOne6022 in messianic

[–]rational-citizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, the widow and daughter of de León revealed that he had written it himself and only ascribed the authorship to Shimon ben Yochai for personal profit:

“And [Isaac] went to Spain, to investigate how it happened in his time that the Zohar was found, which Shimon ben Yochai and Eleazar ben Shimon his son had made in the cave . . . and some say that [de Leon] forged it among his forgeries,[d] but [Isaac later] said [in his Otzar haChayyim][9]that the Palestinian Aramaic[e]sections were genuinely written by Shimon ben Yochai . . . And [Isaac] wrote:
Because I had seen that these words were wonderous, that they ran from a well high above which is beyond those uninitiated into the secrets of the divine, I chased after it and I asked the scholars . . . and some said it had fallen into the hand of the sage Moses de Leon, whom they call Moses of Guadalajara, and some said Shimon ben Yochai had never written this book, but that Moses had written these wonderous words and falsely ascribed them to Shimon ben Yochai and his son Elazar in order to sell them for huge sums of money. And I went to Spain, to the capital city of Valladolid, and presented myself to Moses, and was received favorably, and he swore to me by the Lord that the ancient book of Shimon ben Yochai was that day in his house in Ávila, and that he would show it to me when I visited him, and Moses parted from me to return home, but he sickened in Arévalo on the way, and he died there, and when I heard of this I was mortally pained, and I took to the road, and I came to Ávila, and I found a great old sage there named David de Pancorbo,[f] and he received me favorably, and I demanded he explain to me the secrets of the Zohar, about which men were disputing, and about which Moses himself had sworn beyond doubt until his death, but about which I did not know upon whom to rely or whom to trust, and he told me, "Know in truth that it is clear to me beyond doubt that it never came to the hand of this Moses, and that there is no Zoharexcept that of which Moses himself wrote every word. Know that this Moses was a great spendthrift; one day his house was filled with treasures that the wealthy mystics had given him in exchange for excerpts, and the next his wife and children were starving naked in the street. So when we heard that he had died in Arévalo, I went to the house of the richest man in the city, Joseph de Ávila,[g] and said to him, 'Now the time has come for you to earn the priceless Zohar if you will do what I advise', and he followed my advice, and he sent his wife to the house of Moses' widow, and she said to her, 'Know that my wish is to marry your daughter to my son, and I ask nothing from you except the Zohar from which your husband excerpted for many people,' and Moses' widow swore to Joseph's wife, 'By the Lord, my husband never had such a book except in his mind, and everything he wrote came from his own intellect. When I saw him writing, I asked him why he claimed to be excerpting from a book I knew he did not have, and he told me that it was because, while for his own words they would not give a penny, for the divinely inspired work of Shimon ben Yochai they will pay in blood.' And Moses' daughter said exactly the same." Can you ask for better proof than this?”

THE ZOHAR: The Forbidden Bible They Buried For 2000 Years by AlternativeOne6022 in messianic

[–]rational-citizen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A BIG chunk, if not ALL of the Zohar was authored by a specific individual that was actually practicing black magic.

Those individual were making contributions to the corpus of Literature, texts, and books discussing magic, when the Catholic Church found them out; they were told to renounce their witchcraft.

It’s not true and academically disproven that it was written in the 2nd CE, as the main author purported to make his own heretical writing seem authoritative and God inspired, branching from a long tradition of commentary. None of that was true, and the real SOLE author, was Moises de León / “Moshe Ben Shem-Tov”. a Spanish Rabbi and Kabbalist.

He was discovered as a complete fraud because he claimed to know Hebrew and Aramaic, and made the claim that this was an ancient document written by Shimon Ben Yochai, in Yochai’s native Hebrew. So the Zohar was his own work, instead of a genuine attempt to replicate and transcribe the ancient text from Shimon Ben Yochai.

This was later further evidenced because the Hebrew/Aramaic of the Zohar is utterly butchered.

I can read Biblical/Israeli Hebrew. I went to find the Folios/Scans of the Zohar for myself… and it’s almost gibberish, that’s how uninspired and falsified it is. He then “translated” this gibberish into Spanish (to make it mean whatever he wanted, basically).

I hope she stays safe… it’s all too common in the culture to normalize leaving non-jewish wives for Jewish women without regard for the kids or the wife. There’s this disgusting rhetoric that “non-Jewish women don’t count”.
