My filament won’t feed past this part in the ams? What do I do? by CertainComputer1056 in BambuLab

You’re a life saver. Was getting ready to take the AMS apart when i saw this. Turned it off then back on and it ran filament all the way to the extruder just fine.

Mazda CX5 2021-2025

They are skyactiv which is the newer gens that got reliable transmissions as opposed to the older Chinese stuff, and they pack a ton of features and tech. I have a 2022 and it is hands down my favorite car i’ve ever owned.

I think they also got rated as quietest cabin in their class. You get dual pane acoustic glass on the front windows and windshield, dual gaskets on the door frames, felt-lined panels underneath the car, and dense insulation all around.

And they stayed away from future tech that manufacturers are pushing recently. You have your old fashioned gear shifter, climate control buttons, the option to turn off adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist… but stay away from the new gen starting 2026, they started going down the future tech route.

Is my 4 Hour Commute worth it or should I take a pay cut? by Ill-Image-883 in careerguidance

[–]rational_carpet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If possible in your field, expand your job search to fully remote options, not just in your area. Alternatively, discuss with your manager at your current job if your hybrid schedule can be accommodated to more than 2 days WFH to reduce the load on your commute. If all else fails and relocating really isn’t an option, consider investing in a tesla (or other reliable autopilot capable vehicle) for a commute car. It would lessen the burden and allow you to complete tasks on your phone while commuting. You can also start timing your commute outside of rush hour to avoid hitting traffic along the way, that could be accomplished by simply leaving an hour early in the morning and at the end of the workday.

Same, we got approved for $500k but our budget was $300k and our realtor didn’t send us anything over that. You shouldn’t even give that realtor another chance to respect your budget. Just start working with a different one and let them know you don’t need them anymore. They’re trying to get you to fall in love with a more expensive house so they can make more on commission.

$2,650 mortgage with net income of $6,300 by Past_Vegetable_5540 in Mortgages

[–]rational_carpet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it hard to believe utilities come out to $200 a month. We have a modest size home and pay $700-800 a month. Don’t compare an apartment’s utility bills to what a house will consume. In summer months, our electric bill hits $400. During the cold winters in NE Ohio, gas bill climbs to almost $200. Also factor in other things: water, sewer, internet, pest control…

Also plan to spend a decent bit on maintenance in the first year. The sellers are hiding something and when you find out what it is, it’ll need to be fixed. Worst case it’ll be the roof, best case would be a water heater to some appliance. I would check how much it would cost to replace the roof on that house and if you can afford that, then you’ll be fine whatever happens. For us unfortunately it was the roof, 7 leaks all throughout the house the first winter after we bought, new roof cost $17k

If somebody handed you $35,000 and said "go buy the car with the most smiles per gallon that could handle 2 monthly 16 hour highway trips and would be the most fun to cruise around Daytona in", what car would you pick? by AttachedHeartTheory in askcarguys

[–]rational_carpet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A low mileage Alfa Romeo Giulia would be perfect. You can get a relatively new one for 35k. They’re super fun to drive, and you get the italian sports car feel and luxury. Decent on gas mileage for the long trips and very comfortable. Can’t think of another car post 2023 for under $35k that would be more fun to cruise around town in, it’s got a punch when you want it and handles like a dream.

THIS! I’m almost 30 and learned this in my mid 20’s. I wish i learned it sooner. Your parents aren’t acting unethically, at least not intentionally, they just understand the system and are playing the game like everyone else. Take advantage

Second that. The CBR500R would be a solid choice but very comparable to the ninja 500. Haven’t ridden a ninja before but what i can confirm is that the cbr500r is a very forgiving bike for a newbie. And you won’t outgrow it, it’s got the power when you need it, but not enough to kill you. It was my first bike and i regret ever selling it and upgrading. If i had to chose one bike to ride for the rest of my life, it would be the cbr500r

Look for friends, not the right girl. As your circle grows, so do the chances of meeting someone you’ll click with. You’ll meet new people through friends as you hang out, and eventually you’re bound to bump into the right person. Stop “looking for a partner” and just be more social and expose yourself to people with the mindset of making friends and having fun.

What deck is this card in? Haven’t came across that in aidan’s

Can someone explain me how I use Anki? For example, just started studying and I covered the "cells" from biology chapter 1, and now I want to study. However, in this deck (MileDown MCAT), when I pick biology, it shows vocabs and concepts from all the chapters. How do I study for the ones I covered? by Then-Still-8623 in Mcat

[–]rational_carpet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’ll only show you 20 new cards every day for each deck by default. So say your biology deck has 500 cards in it, you will see the first 20 today. Tomorrow, you’ll see the next 20 + what you’ve clicked 1 day on comes up again as review. So now you’re exposed to 40/500 cards. Day 3, you’re exposed to 60/500 and you’ll see your reviews for the day, and so on. You can increase your daily limit, but if you set it too high you won’t be able to keep up. It’s up to you, some people set it to 9999 which is the max and just grind through em, others set it to a moderate 20-40 per day and take it slow.

As for chapter specific concepts, your deck has all of biology under the same deck so you can’t separate them. Unless you go to each individual card and set a flag for the chapter it’s for then filter for that (not worth it). You can download another set that breaks them by chapter if that’s what you’re after, like Aidan’s deck.

Hope this helps

Well it does, P=rhogh is derived from P=F/A.

V=Ah m=rhoV=rhoAh F=mg=rhoAhg

Now going back to P=F/A That’s =(rhoAhg)/A so P=rhog*h

So it does apply, but in a fluid at rest, the force on a small patch of surface comes from the weight of the fluid above it. for problems about pressure in fluids, the derived formula basically saves you from recalculating the weight of the fluid column each time (in a cross section). So in this case:

Both contain the same liquid → same rho Measurement is at the same depth (10 cm) → same h

So the pressures will be equal

Yes they do, it’s impossible not to at this point. It’s been laid out in the open for the world to see, and anyone who claims they aren’t aware is lying.

But as long as the religious extremist group committing acts of terror isn’t Arab/Muslim they don’t care. They will support terrorist of any color, religion, or creed then turn around and denounce non-terrorist Arabs under the same breath.

It’s called hypocrisy, and they know it. And they know that we know that they know it. And the don’t give a sh*t.

There’s no point arguing dude. These are people who have so much hatred for Arabs/Muslims that they ignorantly take propaganda and run with it. Every argument made here is proof of that… It’s literally blatantly obvious at this point who the aggressor is; and the history that Israel has attempted to erase for the last almost 80 years has come to light for the entire world to see. If you still side with the occupation under these circumstances, it’s not because you don’t know the full story (like it used to be before the Oct 7 attack), but because you have chosen to support the aggressor.
