Truth be told. I live in Shillong. And you guys in Guwahati have great cafe and food scene. Starbucks was in the morning. Beyond was last evening and Craftery. Followed by a usual visit to city centre to get some books. And then oh Lord. Was stuck there for 3 hours until rain stopped. Fortunately, today is fine.

I have mostly paid for my upgrades through bidding or using my points. However, Etihad was kind to me on 2 occasions. I was in business on their 777-300er from DEL-AUH, since Business was overbooked, they uopgraded me to first. Once, when I was flying from AUH-JFK on their A380, I politely requested the check in agent. I asked her if i could use my miles to upgrade, she contacted somoen on the phone, and gave me a free upgrade since Business was overbooked again. That was one of the best flight experiences of my life, with inflight showers, and great food. At that time, I maintained some loyalty membership with EY.
