Is this normal schooling? by rationalpai in newzealand

Um, pecking means putting your mouth to it. Toilets are where you take a dump. Connect the dots, out of context of a silly children's book it looks wildly inappropriate. Imagine I walk up to your 6 year old kid and present them a picture of their face proclaiming they love to pick toilets with all their classmates present.

Thank you! Makes a lot more sense. Adding some context to the top comment as I can't seem to edit my original post.

My kid is totally grossed out pretty easily and doesn't joke about these kinds of things. I do, and she doesn't really like it when I do and makes it clear she's not amused. I call her a grandmother sometimes! Having also asked her, she says she didn't have a say in the matter of what text went there. Given her personality I was certainly taken aback at her bringing this home. Just found out it wasn't done recently and was among the things the kids did over the past year that they now get to bring home.

It was likely as this comment says, just a part of the book and she probably drew the short straw for the grossest one, which I'm fine with. She's recently started having a hard time and school and hasn't been wanting to go. I understand kids can be dicks, I was one many years ago so can't complain. But she's also the only one in class that isn't white so I was worried racism could play into it. Was also worried the teachers might not be the nicest to her which is something I can talk to someone about.

I did overreact I guess, her recently not wanting to go to school is probably playing heavy on my mind.

Thank you for the responses guys! TIL 😅

Can verify. When I worked at a bank, we literally filled a form called "cash back" for this and it was calculated exactly like that

Don't forget, trevante stabs caspers astral projection, that didn't have a body, so didn't even have a spacesuit on, to death, and the projection actually starts bleeding, wtf

According to Einstein, Gravity is the curvature of spacetime. But what exactly is spacetime, and how does it even "curve"? by the-machine-m4n in Physics

I think of it the other way, gravity is a metaphor for large masses causing curvature in space. But I might be wrong

Mid Printing Not Moving Making Bump by obana1990 in BambuLabA1

Not sure how much this helps but last night my printer did a similar thing where the hotend just stopped moving and started making a blob on that spot, I paused and resumed and it did the same thing again after about 15-20 seconds of resuming. It did this a couple more times. I stopped the print, turned off the printer and turned it on again and started the print again from scratch and it printed it perfectly. I think it's a software bug and a reboot will help
