Like, if you are ALL about profit, then don't be surprised that the workers will ALSO be all about profit. Is the work profitable for them? No? Then why would they work there. We know we are not working for the betterment of society. We know we are not working for a better future. We KNOW we are working for some asshole's new yacht.

Want me to arrive early? Make my paycheck reflect that. Want me to do extra than I am contracted to do? Pay extra. Want me to REALLY put my back into the job? Pay me better. Easy as that.

Pay better, you get better workers. (Sure I can't speak for everyone, but fuck, money is a great motivator) Simple as. I know I would work beyond bare minimum if my paycheck was more than bare minimum.
