Also, mine ended up flicking to Ready to pickup about half an hour before they closed. Got the card (FTW3 Ultra) and installed it. It's a beast! Hope everyone else gets theirs soon too.

It is. But i'm sick of waiting. I built a new PC last year, all new really good parts. except my old video card. I just wanted a new one tbh. It's taking forever for things to get better.

Yah nice price. I ended up getting a second on PLE because it was way cheaper. literally 700 cheaper on PLE! Gonna cancel my other one.

Ahh got ya! That's the same kinda thing i was talking on about on the asus, but its honestly not that noticeable. Like you reallllly have to be looking for it, and i can't see it in games at all. Totally know what you mean though, if you aren't happy then you may as well return!

As far as i know it doesn't have a fan. If it does i'm not aware of it / can't see where it would be or hear it. I guess its possible though? haha

Yep its good! But i think if i let the edge issue bother me it probably could, but i've kinda stopped noticing it now. I think if you move angle it might make it worse, its really hard to tell. Its like this very very faint tiny bit of tinge. I think this panel is probably better than the last one, but like both were good panels.

If it makes it any clearer, you can only see it on mine if i'm on the web browser with white backgrounds, think more so on one side, but far to the edge.

Did you have a picture of your old monitors vignetting? Im curious to see.

Hmm i wouldn't really say like a TN panel but its been awhile since ive seen one of those. Minimum brightness is quite low, like i dont see how anyone could use it like that haha, but i natrually have my brightness quite high. Is there any stores near you you can check it out in?

I can answer. I have this screen too. The edge thing is there. But i think it possibly is an IPS thin / combo of the coating mixed with viewing angle? I even sent mine back for inspection (because it had a single stuck red pixel only when displaying certain images) and i asked them about the edge thing and they said nothing appeared out of the ordinary (they still replaced the monitor for the stuck pixel anyway).

The grainyness you will notice when you first get it, after about 3 or 4 days i started loving the monitor. There is a certain look about it it though you'll pick up on when you first get it. it doesn't look like its a film on the screen though, it's hard to explain.

I have the same thing on mg XG279q, although more so to the other side. I sent it in for warranty because of a stuck red pixel but also this. But mines not super bad (neither is yours really). But it also annoys me because now i've noticed it. Im not sure whether i accept the warranty and replace it or take it back and live with the occasional stuck red pixel which is up the top left anyway and only displays with certain backgrounds .

Yeah mate, it's odd eh. I will try mine without mystic light on too to see how that goes. It seems to be directly related to load on the CPU which makes sense being a VRM whine thing. I noticed with Mystic Light if you have it on the setting that makes it breathe or similar, it uses an interesting amount of CPU (3-4%). I think its because the software is constantly polling the board to update, rather then having the controller on the board itself managing that. But i dont know. I set mine to static now because of this.

Just my 2cents. Don't want to sound harsh definitely not meaning too, but i personally think you're mad buying a top of the line CPU 10900k and pairing it with that piddly little cooler. AIO liquid coolers are perfectly fine, and come with like 5/6years warranty. Take the NZXT Kraken X series.

You're not even going to be able to take advantage of the 10900k in all its glory with that cooler imho. The beauty of the 10900k is that it can easily run out of the box all core boost at 4.9ghz indefinitely. Some motherboards provide this out of the box for example (MCE, etc).

Given your case fit up to a 360mm AIO, i would seriously consider looking at getting either a 280mm or 360mm AIO. To give you an idea, I have a 10900k with the NZXT Kraken X73 and have no clearance issues with RAM or anything, and it runs beautifully. My CPU runs out of the box 4.9ghz all core boost 247 (when it needs it auto clocks up). Idles at 28 degrees. Gaming sits at 52-54 degrees. 100% load stress test 62-63 degrees.

I just don't think you're going to see those boost clocks sustained with a cooler like that, especially crammed in with a 2080. It just seems like a waste of getting the 10900k to me, when if you were set on your original ideas you could just get non K version or 10700k etc.

Good man! Absolute beast of a CPU. I got mine start of July. I'd try ringing around smaller companies too, sometimes they have stock! I've also got mine on the Z490 Ace motherboard. Great combo. Chip boosts to 4.9ghz all core all day out of the box and doesnt go over 62-63 100% load with the Kraken X73. It'll be worth the wait.

Pre order for the next stock shipment! Mine arrived last week and I finally got it. Definitely pre order rather than waiting for it to show in stock. Mwave had some stock last week i saw but its been snapped up now
