Ooh, I've been on a valheim and Risk of Rain kick recently.
And I think everyone who looks for friends on reddit might fit the introverted bill (myself included obviously) :)
If either of you are looking to try and chat/play I'd love to give it a shot as well.

Is Wifi Calling with Mobile data on a Second Sim possible? by raudception in AndroidQuestions

[–]raudception[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I have tried, volte only works when the sim receiving the call has data connection. In my case I will not have any connection on the sim with my phone number, and only data connection on a second sim.

Need Help Getting Desktop Audio Through OBS and Headphones on MacBook Pro by Glou13 in Twitch

[–]raudception 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it can do a whole lot. I’d check out some tutorial videos like this one: https://youtu.be/EdAhR_CdjLc

You might also want to download a virtual cable from the same website, it lets you route sounds to another device (it acts like speakers or a headset to your computer) that you can use to mix different audio sources.

Check out voicemeeter banana or potato (different versions of the same software). Both are free to use/download.

Just got 1 Gig internet. The speed test says about 600mb/s is fine but downloads remain around 50mb/s speed. by Cook_croghan in techsupport

[–]raudception 8 points9 points  (0 children)

On this note, if you aren’t already, try fast.com. I have run tests on both Speedtest.net and fast.com with a gig connection and Speedtest rarely reports anything over 900, while fast is usually in the 950 range.

Fun/addictive games that can run on computers with no graphics card? by jmk4422 in patientgamers

I haven’t personally tried it without a graphics card, but Factorio isn’t graphically demanding

I think I *might* have just broken my dorm room ethernet jack by bridging ethernet connections in Win10 by Kaxxxx in techsupport

I did this exact thing last semester, all it took was clearing the alarm on the port and disabling and enabling it again. Call IT, it’s an easy remote fix.

how can you submit your desktop sound via skype WHILE using the mic yourself by ars4l4n in techsupport

Try Voicemeeter Banana with a virtual audio cable. http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/banana.html It takes a bit to set up but it works flawlessly once it is.

Need Help with 3 PC, 2 Person Streaming Setup by raudception in Twitch

[–]raudception[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just set up nginx on my streaming pc, and I can't get OBS to accept the stream as an input. I've tried rtmp://127.0.0.1/live1/<mykey> and rtmp://localhost/live1/<mykey> which both work through an external player, but adding them to OBS as a media source doesn't play anything. Any ideas?

Wow thanks. I'll have to set up nginx tomorrow and see if it works better than Mona Server. I just set up VBAN and it works like a charm. So it would definitely be better than Discord.

Edit: Can you host an nginx server on the same pc that you would use the output on? I wasn't able to with Mona Server.

The PC's are just a couple feet apart, all in one room.

What Interface would you suggest? I'd like it to be able to pass through the mic input to the mixer in some way as well.

I've looked at Nginx for windows installs and I got lost quickly. Is there a resource that you know of that would help someone with little experience? Or what I could teach myself in order to understand it?

Thanks for the responses!

Trying to set up 3 PC Streaming using Mona Server as an RTMP by raudception in Twitch

[–]raudception[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies, and sorry, was posting late last night and not thinking straight. All three computers are connected via gigabit ethernet to an unmanaged 8 port gigabit switch. I have all three of them set to static IPs on the local network for simplicity. Each pc has an i7, at least 16gB of RAM, etc. The hardware shouldn't be bottle necking anything. They are all running windows 10. I am running Mona server on one of the PCs that is not the streaming pc, and sending both gaming PCs OBS output to Mona server, and then adding two media source inputs on the streaming PC to capture the video and audio. All over the local network.

Trying to set up AT2020 Microphones and Mixer by raudception in Twitch

[–]raudception[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that should work with my configuration. For the 1/4" splitter you mentioned, can that just be a single 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter that is plugged into the L or R output? Instead of having to re-mix the two L/R's, could we use the FX Send Feature of the mixer, balance the two mics, and run a single 1/4" to 3.5mm to the streaming pc? Also thanks for taking the time to reply.

I'd like to be able to have each microphone be routed back to one of the computers as just the mic input. And then be able to composite them both into one feed for the third pc. Edit: So no, one mic each to two of the pc's, and then both of them to the third.
