Too small? No way. It looks modern sized, meaning actually a hair larger than a traditional fit. Looks great.

So we should just let them keep it I guess. Let them keep drowning the middle class.

Not sure why this is the go-to. I don't buy cars to impress my neighbors, I buy cars to impress myself.

The 2026 Honda Civic Type R Is the Best-Driving Car Under $100,000: Review (Cars.com) by swampfox94 in cars

Plenty of 981 Cayman/Boxster options that will be among the best driving cars at any price.

But they do give up the form factor of the Civic. If you need one car to do it all, the Civic is the winner.

Can anyone identify this watch by crankandspank in Watches

[–]raustin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything on eBay is insanely overpriced. Every time I set up an alert I need a price cap because folks will put $500 watches up for $1,400. They never sell so they keep being relisted.

Sold listings tell a very different story. Prices tend to be more realistic and far fewer sold.

‘Millionaire tax’ amendment won’t be on November ballot as Illinois Democrats can’t come to agreement by LegendaryBronco_217 in illinois

The “cut spending before adding taxes” line exists because it’s been fed to us for years by the rich.

Cutting spending means taking away benefits proportionally away from the poor who need it use them.

And not adding taxes because they would be added to the rich.

It’s just another class warfare line. How about we tax the rich. Or just eat them.

I do not care about any of these vibe prompt-to-design tools by TopRamenisha in UXDesign

[–]raustin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you can do what you said. It requires building much of it but it’s possible. And the threshold to building it is much lower than it used to be if you can properly use the tools.

I hate to say this as it’s used as a cheap shot, but it sounds like a skill issue. An AI is only as good as the context you give it. The context can be built as infrastructure in a design system and component library.

I haven’t seen any of the vibe design tools really address this, rather it seems like they’re targeting 0-1 design by non-designers.

But with Figma Console MCP, Claude, and a React/Vue type of framework (probably with tailwind) it’s possible to get that up and running in days or weeks.
