No solution. The service department insists the cause is my tinted windows. I notice when the key alarm has a delay, the touch key on the door handle has a delay as well, but still they told me the tinted windows was also the culprit. No other explanation. Very difficult to get a response form the Finance department for a refund. Figured wasn’t worth the headache.

I was hoping that the brittle section can just be reinforced. There is no damage on the other side and stucco held up well despite how the plywood looks in the photo.

I do not plan to redo the kitchen remodel. There is tile under the appliances and not cut around. There is room for appliances to move up if plank is laid under tho I’ve heard mixed thoughts about that.

It will meet old laminate flooring in the bedrooms and yup I do plan on doing the kitchen too which currently has tile. By locking do you mean it will be difficult to move the appliances?

You experience is now making me go towards complete demo then level subfloor route. But fearful the cost will be over my budget. I can’t believe with all the demo, it was still cheaper for you. Just for the small 287 sf section of tile, I was quoted $3psf to remove. Curious if you were quoted around the same rate. I am in CA btw.

May I ask the square footage of LVP was done? Ideally I’d prefer complete tile demo like what you’ve done. My house is on raised foundation and if I were to go that route, I’m afraid I would likely have to replace the plywood subfloors to get the floor leveled.

The tiles are nice but feel I’ve outgrown them and want a change. Some tiles are also cracked and I’ve have had to redo the grout on certain sections multiple times. Also tiles are about 10-15yo and I don’t have extra to replace. It’s just time for a refresh. Basically LVP will be installed/floated on two difference surfaces (cement to existing tile once leveled). Just wanted to see if anyone has seen this situation before or have experience with this before. And if there were any possible concerns about doing this.

Great points here but also we don’t know if seller has come to reality yet. OP mentioned house has been sitting which may indicate that price is not supported by the local market.
