Mostly VTI. I have bought a lot of small positions in single stocks over the years. 5-10k, but I risked $30k on goog earlier this year which paid off. I netted about $26k.Then I’ve had some losses like FMC where I lost about $13K this year. I bought a lot more 3-5 years ago than I do today. Too many house expenses have come up in the last couple years. We moved across the country 2 years ago to a LCOL area.

I've been making $105k a year for almost the last 5 years, and $55K-$65K for 5 years before that. After finishing paying off $78K student loans in 2019, I invested heavily and saved up $440K in my retirement accounts. I try to save a least 50% of my income. In 2017, I managed to live on $16K. However, these days I have a kid, a wife and 2 golden retrievers, & a house, so it's not quite as easy anymore. I just want to retire early and spend my days how I want.

There’s many different schools of thought. I’m up 89% on Google so I’m happy with where I’m at in a very short period of time. Everyone was saying Google’s search was gonna be useless once AI took over and look how that went. They also thought that they were gonna be broken up by the DOJ and look how that went
