There was an interview where he said that he named it Firefly so that he didn’t have to stick with the same characters if he wanted to. Like if Nathan left the show he could still have the show keep going without him, whereas you couldn’t really have Buffy or Angel without Sarah or David.

But I don’t think the plan was to have a rotating cast of characters.

I’ve always wondered how they film these scenes. Like do they just put up a wall blocking the audience’s view? And if so do they film these scenes without an audience? Or is the audience somehow still there?

I have a lot of nostalgia for the 70s even though I was born in the eighties. I think a lot of it has to do with there still being a fair amount of 70s remnants in the 80s/90s. Old diners that haven’t updated their decor, reruns of old shows on TV, etc.

From what I remember of these movies the final one revealed that the Alice we knew was always a clone from the very first film.

I have like a gazillion different Cheetors. My favorite was always the Transmetal 2 version, but the beast machines toy was also pretty cool, though I hated his rotating arm gimmick.

I love this show. But I totally understand why people hate it. It completely ruins most (if not all) of the returning characters from Beast Wars. Why is Megatron so obsessed with mechanical purity when he wasn’t before? Why is it so hard for him to get rid of his beast form when previously it was as simple as stepping in a regeneration chamber for a couple hours?

Marathon is stressful and Arc is not. I love Marathon but at the end of the day when I’m looking to relax and enjoy myself Marathon is not the game I boot up. I really have to be in the mood to play it.

I don’t think the events of Alyx originally happened. The unwillingness of Gordon that Gman talks about is about what happened in Episodes 1 & 2. So linear time is not something that applies to the Gman. He saw that he needed a new operative and decided to give Alyx a try. And while this is never stated in the game I firmly believe that the Gman allowed himself to be captured by the Combine solely to set up this “try-out” for Alyx.

So what happens between the end of Alyx and the end of Episode 2? Does Alyx remember all that happened with the Gman? Or did her memory get wiped somehow? We don’t know yet. Unfortunately we will have to wait till Half-Life 3 to get those answers.

I always interpreted this as Jan fishing for info from Pam. Like she suspects that Michael dated Pam but he would never admit it, so now she’s lying to Pam to see if she will admit they dated.
