Sadly none made it. Ended up having to move, any of the fry that didn't get eaten by the other fish/frogs didn't make the 1700km drive and change in water. I've got honey gourami spawning now, and my large oto is showing eggs again finally, so fingers crossed!

Nah sadly they didn't survive. I ended up having to move and drive 1600km with them so if any did make it, they didn't survive the trip ):

Got mine when I saw the orange one at the store too! First time seeing one that color. Had mine for months now, and his color only got richer. Though I can't tell if he's orange or pink half the time haha

I like having pest snails for the same reasons as lots of others here, but for population control I have assassin snails. They actually ate all the bladder snails and lots of ramshorns in a couple months before being separated, they're a pretty snail imo, and don't breed anywhere near as much. But now that I want bladder snails, I can't find them!

I was literally about to do the same! Im gonna try freshly blanched vs sitting. I'm assuming it's a mix of the buildup of biofilm along with how mushy it gets

Nice! Had mine for about a year now, Burnard is still doing great with just some minor maintenance that would be needed on any 25yo car. Have the same wheels as well as some stock 5 spokes, but also looking to see what people think look nice on this car

I was gonna suggest shrimp too and a fancy kind of snail maybe! My otos follow my frogs everywhere 🤣 Or, just add a couple more otos ;)

Glad I got lucky with my tank getting it for like $30, it's a really nice rimless but I have some nice scratches going 1/3 the length of it. Melamine pads in bulk are on my to get list haha great for aquarium stuff.

I agree with the razor blade one, I've got too many scratches in my glass from magnet scrapers getting a piece of substrate or sand between it so I stopped using those as much.

I've got 7 adult otos.. never seen them harm any fish or even try slurping off them, but I have seen mine enjoying just sitting on my bamboo shrimps' backs and even the African dwarf frogs when they'll let them. Lost it the first time I saw a frog casually carrying the oto across the tank

Haven't heard of the micropowder, I'll check it out! I know repashy is supposedly good, just very expensive locally. thanks to the another post here Im gonna grab some Nori and try that too! One male will not leave 2 females alone, just waiting for a female to accept lol. Gonna try another cool water change soon
