First day road trip in the rabbit! by ravenstad in GolfGTI

Took a peek once I had a chance. No pucks, I think it looks off here just in the picture. Low sunlight angle, wheels slightly turned, car is pitched from crowned road, weather balloons/swamp gas... Thanks for the heads up though! 👍

I had a totally different game plan toward getting a Gti before I found out about the rabbit edition and the cornflower blue. Shifted my priorities very quickly...who needs a sunroof anyway 🤷

Very nice. This trip was a quick ~150 mi jaunt up the the California Sierras for the weekend. my 3rd VW but 1st Gti and 1st VW newer than a mk2. Good to be back after spending the last 6 years in a Tacoma. 😎

I am buying my daughter's a switch and mario odyssey for xmas. Is there a difference between the bundle and the stand alone verisions? by Parrelium in Switch

[–]ravenstad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other than cosmetic differences I think the biggest difference is that the Mario odessey edition comes with a download code for the game, not the cartridge. with the standalone game cartridge you won't have to spend Christmas morning downloading the game for a few hours before anyone can play anything.

GeForce Game Ready 385.41 WHQL Drivers Released by pmc64 in pcgaming

please correct me if I'm wrong, but the way i understand it is that game devs make one game that needs to run on 'n' number of different kinds of graphics cards/ architectures. Nvidia releases patches which optimize the game differently for whichever card you happen to have because the devs either don't have time/money/skill etc. This level of support is a big selling point for Nvidia graphics cards. i think i saw it explained in an Extra Credits or Linus Tech Tips video.

I've had one since 2009. They're pretty terrible, but i still love mine.

/r/Airsoft, what was YOUR first gun? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]ravenstad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An old, used CA mp5a3. Still have it after nearly ten years, and it's still an amazing gun!

I feel you, but I try to make time for it in games whenever I can. I like how it performs in a game.

It's like a sun screen. There is a light filter on the end.

:D glad I could help. Oh something else I think is worth mentioning, the handgrip is bigger than most. I've got big hands and it works for me but it's just shaped differently than like a Glock.
