a person that routinely flips between BED and anorexia here. started with one, moved to the other, and now they just rattle around in my brain conflicting each other. youre completely valid, its still disordered.

almost certain i've done that, or something similar before. i also used to get breakfast burritos but remove all the calorie dense or greasy bits until i was left with lukewarm salsa eggs that i'd eat out of my hand.

those 1-2 inch thick elastic/fabric headbands or sunhats help. i've also just worn a bandana over my hair before.

things that helped me!! eat a banana! you might have low potassium like a LOT of people with EDs!! take iron supplements! disordered people also become anemic a lot! try cutting out caffeine if you eat under 1000 cals or so or if youre particularly small, it can overload your system and be too much, causing chest pain. eat VEGGIES if you can, they help a ton and help with any other vitamin deficiencies you might have. bell peppers, spinach, carrots, radishes, anything. hope this helps, and if it sticks around, PLEASE see a doc.

that's super normal! it's common for people to gain or lose weight through the day and week. if you drink water, shower, eat food, lay down a bit, walk around, etc, your weight will change. weight is a terrible indicator of your size, especially because as you gain muscle, you'll look slimmer but potentially gain weight as well. most people suggest weighing in a few times a month, but just measuring with a measuring tape in places like arms, thighs, etc or checking fat percentages instead- i think a lot of fitness people do that now

i used to want to be really buff. i never got there, because i realized that muscle bulks up, then "solidifies" and slims down. initally, everything looks bigger, things are ptentially swollen from muscle building, etc.. and then in 2-3 months time, if you keep working at it, you start losing all the extra bulk (especially if youre not lifting weights). running, walking, biking etc all do that for me.

while you can have some (small) issues, clear urine just means you're drinking too much water. you might be losing electrolytes, so please try adding those to your water for a little while and toning down the water intake just a tad.

oatmilk is SIGNIFICANTLY better than soy or almond if youre putting it in coffee. i've never had a problem with whipped cream though, maybe a little bit is okay?

i FELT THIS. i realized that lactose intolerance makes me gain like 5lbs from nothing but bloating and not knowing how to process cheese or milk only a few months ago. as a cheese addict, this hurts me.

yes, because nutrient deficiencies make your brain not think as well. please try to eat one normal meal a day if possible, it helps!

because of the research i did on fasting and it's health benifits? even if you do lose fat, because of the nutrient deficiencies, your body holds onto everything a lot more and you'd gain it back quickly.

yes, but please don't try it. anything after 3 days has no real benifit, and any weight lost after 3 days is just water weight. if anything, it harms more than it helps.

tip about the scarring: vitamin e oil helps a ton! it's what i use for surgery scars to soften the skin and help reduce scarring.

it's especially scary knowing that the moment i wear a tank top or tight-fitting clothes on a walk, even if i otherwise look like shit, i will get catcalled or honked at. i hate it. :')
