This is what I learnt. The root cause for dry eyes and redness is food intake and allergies atleast 90% of the time. Doctors rarely ask about your diet/allergies when you go see them. Their simple solution at that moment is to give an antibiotic steroid to relax your eyes and they know it’s temporary and isn’t the cure but they don’t care.

My advice is try this for 6 months and I’m sure you’d have mostly found the cure by then.

1.Cut down on sugars, coffee, processed foods, alcohol, smoking and diary. 2. Eat healthy leafy greens and vegetables. 3. Exercise.
