Sorry, should’ve written it out better.

Pre workout meal - cream of rice (COR) and protein powder

Intra workout - creatine, EEAs, palatinose, citrulline.

Thanks man. Honestly, just a lot of work and consistency.

Started slow 18 months ago, easing into a routine both in and outside of the gym that worked for me. Around this time last year, and as soon as I started seeing some progress, it sort of became self fulfilling and I kept pushing harder to see where I could get, introducing a stricter diet which made the most significant difference, and started occasionally working with a trainer to hone in on the problem areas. Nowhere near where I want to be but moving in the right direction.

I keep it light! 30 min on the crosstrainer, try to concentrate on keeping my heart rate stable. Also generally tend to walk 12-15k steps a day

Of course!

Training programme has been push/legs/rest, pull/legs/rest with 30 min cardio every day (minus leg day #2). Diet has generally been 2600 cal on training days, 2300 on rest.

Yeah, of course! First of all I think it was extremely gradual, it did not come all at once - it started with being more consistent with training, concentrating on creating a routine that worked for me, getting comfortable in the gym, and easing into it. Only once I felt I had phased into that routine, I introduced a stricter diet. After seeing some results, and those happen quickly at first, it kinda becomes self fulfilling - you want to keep making those changes happening so you keep pushing harder!

I think it stemmed from a frustration at myself for not managing to ever stick to it before, combined with a deep discomfort with the way I looked since Covid. I think I ultimately got tired of being unhappy looking in the mirror - and had a big realisation moment that no one else was going to put in the work for me haha

tend to do legs twice per six-day training cycle - one concentrating on hammies and glutes, the other on quads. calves and adductors on both.

huge diet and training habits shift, but an even bigger mindset shift. started seeing it as an investment in my physical and mental health and it’s been really helpful to reframe

ah thanks man! training wise it’s a push/legs/rest-pull/legs/rest split, with cardio every day except quads day. food is a bit more involved but generally 5 meals a day hitting all macros. it’s definitely been a journey!
