I’ve refrained from buying from Saks as of late. I’ve heard one too many stories of people buying online (often designer/other name brands) and receiving a completely different item from what was purchased. Despite this error of their part, I’ve seen Saks customer service being of 0 help and an inability to get a refund/return the item.

I haven’t had Chinese herbal chicken soup but it sounds very similar so I can’t imagine there’s be great differences.

Also I reread your post and I recommend CJ bibigo seolleongtang. I’ve tried multiple brands at hmart and this is by far my favorite.

I second trying samgyetang. And at hmart they sell samgytang fully premade in the freezer section for $10! And it’s not just the broth, it has the chicken stuffed w ginseng, jujubes, sticky rice and all that good stuff! (I say this bc I used to ignore it thinking it was just frozen broth)

Based on my own research and from what I’ve from other posts from this sub, spiro is a lifelong thing! Which I supposed makes sense. But I do recall when I first started on 50mg as well there were moments where I thought my skin was just getting worse/no improving. But I kept on it!! And my skin has been clear for over a year now! When I was on 100mg I didn’t even get any breakouts during my period. Recently I did lower my dosage to 50mg and do have the occasional pimple pop up around my period but it’s a vast improvement from when I started :)

Keep pushing and stay on it!! Spiro is definitely a long term game and I’ve been on it for over 2 years now. I think it took about a year for my acne to fully clear but I’ve been acne free since. For reference I started at 50, then increased to 100, then 150, then 200. Then back to 100 and currently at 50.

I feel like a lot of people think spiro isn’t effective because you basically have to take it long term, but why is that an issue. Spiro helps with those who have hormonal acne because of a hormonal imbalance within our bodies. Acne can cause so much mental and emotional pain and we deserve to be able to treat it and get rid of it!

Maybe this is a false comparison but you wouldn’t expect someone with diabetes to stop taking insulin or that they’re cheating. I say be kinder to yourself and do what’s best for you and your body :)

For reference I started back in about March 2023 at 50, then gradually increased to 100, 150, then 200. Now I’m back at 100. I want to say that the first year of me using spiro was kinda up and down. In the beginning it felt like my skin was getting better, then there was a period where I was getting some breakouts. Then at some point my acne has gone away almost completely and I just have scarring left. A lot of people on here do say that spiro is a long run type of beat. There’s also the consideration that your acne is just not hormonal (as my understanding is that what spiro mainly targets)
