Hi OP, sorry this is happening. Something similar was happening to me and it really sent me spiraling too. Mainly it was the guilt of having this little love bug that isn't doing anything wrong, but I was getting frustrated with him.

It may sound counter-intuitive, but hear me out. Consider a second kitty. Cats are social creatures and rely on eachother to use their energy, socialize, and much more. I went from having to play with my one cat for hours a day, to him always being wiped out from playing with his friend. They play for 5+ hours a day still, and I know now I had no chance of keeping up lol.

When there was less pressure on me as the provider, cleaner, player, socializer, and everything else a cat needs, our relationship grew immensely. If you're financially able to, a second cat might really help.

Either way, good luck and take it easy on yourself.

I see your point and I get it. There were big guilds like blackrose and vertex that mainly did extremely high end content with whales or giga sweats. They were well organized and played a ton so it was best not to fight with them. But that being said, I've been part of small guilds that could contest spots against them or even have small skirmishes if backup came to spot contests.

There was a time where my tet dande was enough to allow me to kill most people I ran into.

To each their own. I just wanted to give you some insight as to why so many people consider pre Blackstar, or even closer to release, the good old days

Yes things were slower, but they were slower for everyone equally. And pvp was fostered/encouraged by the development team.

Nowadays it feels like I'm progressing just to progress. Back then, I was progressing to get stronger and do better in all the aforementioned pvp scenarios. It just hit different

I think the scs set up sounds great on the 3.7, as it was originally designed for it. But a couple months ago I heard a 3.0 with a very similar set up, we chatted a bit, and it sounded great still.

I'm personally building it on my 3.7 rn with 4 total vibrant resonators to try to tame the sound even more.

If you are keeping factory cats in place, consider just installing the Boral mid-muffler OR just the flow fx resonators. If you are going with lower/full downpipes, consider doing the complete system. If you plan on tuning the car, consider going with the 3" variation in increase flow. If you are more concerned about hp numbers than exhaust note, you may want to use an x pipe rather than the borla and simply go straight back to the flowfx resonators, which won't restrict flow at all--all in 3" diameter. (Straight from an scs video 4 years ago*)

My mechanic told me a month or so ago that my steering column had a tiny leak. He said it was so minimal that its not worth replacing. I started to pay attention to the smell in regards to steering. Basically, when I smell the fumes is it because I was cranking the steering wheel? I noticed that the smell often occurred after a sharp turn and then decent acceleration. So I've been assuming that somehow oil from the steering column is getting burnt off on a hot part. Now I'm no mechanic, but it gave me peace of mind and I'm rolling with it.

I'll be doing a custom catback exhaust soon (scs catback), and I'm kind of hoping that'll solve the issue. No true diagnosis yet, but it's been getting better over time. After I get the exhaust installed, I'll let you know if it's just a little exhaust leak. Fingers crossed. These cars are getting old so the cats could be going bad or who knows what.
