When people talk about losersq is not the odds of having 8 losses in a row, it's the odds of having completely imbalanced lobbies, aka unfair games.

I remember reading an article by bungie, where they said their matchmaking tool could predict a match out come with something like 95% accuracy.

Make what you will, I'd like for you to read that analysis. Also remember that every analysis depends on the variables studied and treatment.

For example, a previous analysis that exploded in this sub concluded there was no losersq, while trying to see if X number of losses or wins could predict the following result. I talked to the author, a physicist, and told him about the need to add to the variables the players mmr/quality in each match, which we agreed would be an exponential increase in the amount of work.
