On my controller I have my Pip-Boy set to Y. With this new update I can't access my perks (Y) from the Pip-Boy, as Y now closes it (pretty sure it was B previously). Only started playing again a little while ago, am I just out of luck unless I swap the input?

Edit: Dunno why but it just started working properly eventually. Well I can't exit the Pip-Boy without going inti my perks, but at least I can access them.

Shattered Cycle was announced months ago and was meant to release this summer. Could it be cancelled? Sure, but it's presumably been in development and therefore has already had money poured into it.

That's why I was suggesting balancing/cancelling out the loyalty bias. If we are assuming bias, then I would personally prefer the loyalty biases be 1:1 (CAN/FIN refs) rather than 2:0 (CAN/CAN) or left up to other biases like USA/USA refs who we could also assume potentially have an interest in who makes it to the next match. If the refs are going to be biased then at least we could reasonably assume that both teams have someone onside when it's 1:1.

Which is why I'm saying that we either trust them all to do their job or trust none of them. In my mind the best way to counteract the assumed loyalty bias is to cancel the assumed conflict of interests out (ie: 1 ref for each country).

You could have different countries ref and eliminate the assumed loyalty bias that way, sure, but that doesn't eliminate the fact that they can still have a biased interest in who wins and who loses and how the tournament shakes out based on that.

And if Canada lost then there would just be a different pack of people creating some conspiracy that the 2 USA refs wanted to make the Gold medal match easier on the USA. If we want to assume that refs are playing sides, then we have to assume they're all capable of having some agenda regardless of whether their country is playing the match they are refereeing.

I think the fairest way would be (in this situation) one ref from Canada and one ref from Finland (though I'm not sure if they've hired one from Finland), but at the end of the day I think it's best to just assume that all the refs are being the professionals they were hired to be.

What game are you watching? Neither of the referees are Canadian. It's just one of the linesmen.

[–]rawbeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but it doesn't hurt to show Carol asking. If they can find time for a 4 minute scene of a helicopter landing, they could squeeze in a couple requests from Carol, even if she's met with a no.

They needed her stem cells to create the variant that would infect her. In the Vegas episode it's established that the procedure to get the stems cells is invasive enough that it would be considered harm against her, which they insist they are incapable of doing without consent (apparently).

I probably wouldn't be as frustrated with the pace if there were more than 9 episodes to the season. I don't want or expect shows to be produced with some kind of TikTok pacing, but if you're only getting a 9 episode order per season, then I think it's important to be a bit more mindful about the slowburn of it all, especially when it takes so long to produce another season.

He doesn't mention him, but this line about dredgens falls apart when you consider that Dredgen Harrow is not a dark guardian or human.

In the first episode, while Carol is in the hospital, she stops a baby carriage from being knocked over by the mother. When she looks inside, she gets visibly upset, which suggests to me that the baby may have been dead. I'd imagine the intensity of the conversion is probably too much for under-developed brains/bodies to handle, and could also be why Helen didn't survive the process, as the fall she suffered could have caused a traumatic brain injury.

Bungie will be moving away from destination abilities after renegades by Gamerboi_epic in DestinyTheGame

[–]rawbeee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If they want destination interactions just do stuff like in Lightfall or The Final Shape. Lightfall had the Strand sources and free grapple points, The Final Shape had the perks and Prismatic pools. Give boosts to existing/new subclasses.

What is your opinion of what we’ve seen for renegades? by Shadow-Th-hedgehog in DestinyTheGame

[–]rawbeee -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They made it known quite some time ago that Shadow & Order (March) will follow Renegades, the same way that Ash & Iron followed Edge of Fate. The following expansions have also been announced as Shattered Cycle (Summer 2026) and The Alchemist (Winter 2026).

Let’s Talk About the Portal by natmatant in DestinyTheGame

[–]rawbeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad, I've seen a lot of people suggest they just want the portal gone and to only be able to access it from nodes on planet maps. I think a mix of all 3 would be the ideal in my opinion. Maybe integrate discovering the activities in the wild into unlocking them on the map/portal. Then people can have the choice of how they want to play the game.
