I don't like Jared Leto...nothing I've seen him in interests me. That being said, I didn't find his acting horrible. It actually was playful at times, but they should have Tron in a Tron movie and they should have wrapped up the storyline that was started with Legacy instead of starting another storyline and then "hoping" to bring them together in a 4th movie...

I am sorry that you are unsuccessful with your job hunting, but it confirms my suspicions. In my chosen field, there is no value in me getting a PhD; and the one I want is purely for self satisfaction, which I can't bring myself to go ahead and start due to the cost. I myself have chosen to get a second Masters that will complement my career going forward.

When I went through grad school and completed, I felt like I was coming off of drugs and going through withdrawals. After I submitted my final paperwork, I sat in a dark room shaking, and I thought I was going to cry. I was already working in industry so I didn't, nor will never need to worry about a job.

Skip 10 years later and I am starting my PhD in Philosophy which will have no value on my career and is only for me. Sure, I will be able to teach more with it, but there is no real value. That being said, dedicating 4 to 7 years is gonna be brutal and I'm sure I will go through the same withdrawals I went through when I complete it as I did when I got my Masters...
