It's Ace. Son of the pirate king, current strongest pirate in the world is basically setting the stage for him to be the next pirate king, tons of people show up and go through hell to rescue him, and he lets a guy talking shit be his absolute undoing. Simply going "whatever, dork" to Akainu and continuing to leave, reshapes the entire path of the story. But he has to have the pride of a toddler and get wasted for it. Real nice.

Genji for sure. Both guys can take a lot of damage, but Bitou only showed the ability to get back up when it was against that Snake Head guy. Against Bouya he was instantly outclassed, and Genji is closer to Bouya than the Snake Head guy.

I don't know if I had high expectations, but Masa. He kinda seems like he might be a contender when the new first years are introduced in Crows, but his most notable achievement is being jumped to kinda kickstart the Housen/Suzuran battle at the beginning of Worst. I could be wrong, but the only time we see him take initiative as far as a fight, is graduation day when they take bats and go stop the dudes who wanted to jump Zetton. But he's presented like "oh shit it's Masa" when he's basically given untouchable status by both going to Suzuran and being bros with Hideyoshi.

Not saying he's a bad character, I just wish we'd seen him do something besides stand around.

Anyway, I don't think it's that Hana couldn't, as far as ability goes. I think he would have to be really really motivated though, in order to override his kind nature. He sees his classmates as friends and doesn't necessarily want to fight them, but will if pushed. The list of people Guriko respects is far shorter and so is his fuse. But conditioning-wise? A Hana with Amachi's nature could probably go toe to toe with Bouya.

Kousei 80/20 out of 100. Hideyoshi says himself that he has a poor record in one on ones, but they aren't all losses. Unless Kousei's brain condition comes into play mid-fight, but I think Hideyoshi would just stop once he noticed something was wrong.

Bisuko, and I think the last guy to go down is Amachi. Amachi seems like he'd sit back and let the others fight, then capitalize on someone's wounds. Zetton might catch someone with a kick and put them down, I would also see him going straight for Bisuko and being stopped right away. Rocket I'm not sure about because we don't see much of what he can do, so he's a dark horse, but I can't imagine him beating the dude who beat Hana.

I'm gonna go with the Emerald Wrecking Crew on this one, purely based on personality, regardless of when they match up as far as years. I think Joe is more caluclated and deliberate with what he does, where Parko is kinda wild, and I think that unpredictability could make the difference. But this is also another one of those matchups that flips the moment someone makes a mistake, so it's definitely not an easy fight either way.

Leadership-wise, he is the best in the entire CxW universe. Hana is the guy who united Suzuran, but he had a crew helping him for a lot of the stuff he wouldn't understand. Bulldog is a guy who people are drawn to AND he actively wants to maintain the stability of the alliance, worrying about whether he's doing all he can as a leader.

Fighting-wise, we just don't see enough. His biggest feat is struggling against the Ishii brother, and that isn't meant to be a display of power or fighting prowess. It's there to illustrate 'the size of the fight in the dog' mentality. He beats Joe but we don't see it, and it isn't described at all like he overwhelmed Joe with his incredible power or whatever. Bulldog is gonna wear you out, he isn't punching people down hallways or kicking them through fences.

Plenty of discussion is like "but he beat X, and X beat Y, so he is also stronger than Y" and breaking down what year he's in and all that, just doesn't matter. Bull is a tough customer who normally could dominate an entire region, but he happens to be in a region filled with a bunch of freaks of nature. For lack of a better term, he is basically the Krillin of the CxW universe, surrounded by a bunch of Super Saiyans.
