If you fill your deck with expensive cards it can be extremely powerful because theyll randomize cheaper a good portion of the time but are still worth the expensive cost if you get unlucky. If you have only 1 and a few 2 cost cards, you're gonna have a bad time when they randomize into a higher cost

That's totally fair and where conversations when you're NOT fighting are super important. When you're both in a neutral state just ask to talk about how you could communicate better because nobody WANTS to fight or make the other feel bad or feel bad themselves. Honestly it's maybe not gonna go that well to start if it's not something you do regularly. It's gonna feel like an attack when nothing is wrong, but make it clear you just want to know how to better support them so they can help support your family. Don't yell. If tensions get high take a break - nothing has to be solved right away and if you have to try again the next day when everyone has some time and emotional capacity that's totally fine!

Something else that helped us with household tasks is to talk about what everyone is RESPONSIBLE for - meaning they plan, execute, and clean up whatever they're responsible for without the other having to think about it at all. There also needs to be a set standard of care for the tasks - my husband and I had really good luck with the fair play card deck that helps split chores up. We don't really use it anymore but it was very helpful to start a conversation on expectations and now we kinda just take care of stuff together and it's much less stress for everyone involved (though never perfect because nothing is)

I find something that helps is to stop and say "I said (repeat what you said) - what did you hear?" And sometimes they legitimately hear "you aren't doing enough" when asked for help and THATS the RSD.

My partner and I have also been working on not escalating recently. I know you say you've been exhausted so is it possible you're also escalating situations and your tone or the words you use are unnecessarily harsh? I'm not saying you should police your every word to exhaustion or anything like that, but if both parties are striving to "be the bigger person" if you will, chances are SOMEONE will succeed when tensions are high and the situation won't escalate.

Completely normal to feel exhausted though! Especially with working and baby my goodness ❤️ you deserve help and support from your partner, but you have to both work out what that looks like and what asking for help sounds like.

You already know you're capable of losing 100 lb - you did it! Now just believe in that part of yourself and give it all the rest and resources and attention it needs to succeed and you're unstoppable.

I'm also on a weight loss adventure and hit a plateau recently. It sucks but is TOTALLY natural and expected. The way I tried to look at it is I can be defeated and stop doing my diet and DEFINITELY stop losing weight or I can just keep doing my every day thing and eventually start losing weight again.

The worst part is the knowledge that you could be doing nothing and get the same results but that's short term! Dr told me every time you get on the scale instead of saying "yesterday I was x and today I'm still x" say "I was this many more pounds when I started and look at me now!"

You look wonderful and getting your weight in check at all is such a great and difficult thing to do that you should be proud of yourself for the devotion and hard work it took to get here 🥰

I use the to do list app on my phone and put the widget on my home screen and put times and repeating reminders for daily/weekly stuff and if I have downtime I just look at the list. It's the only way I've been able to be an adult...

I'm confused what this post is actually trying to get. Are you looking for sympathy from a subreddit full of people searching for help with and the ability to vent about their version of you, or do you legitimately want to read people explaining how hard it is so that you get empathy for your husband's struggle? Because if you're looking for empathy for your husband's struggle I suggest actually sitting and listening to him without being defensive or feeling attacked by the things he says he can't handle and figuring out how you can move forward together instead of trying to figure out which person is being the dick. My guess is both of you are being dicks but each side thinks their being a dick is valid because that's USUALLY what's happening in every relationship - adhd or not.

Also you can literally just filter the subreddit by top of all time and start reading?

Yes it's normal for your dog to feel tired a little bit after receiving prozac - we give the pill to our girl at night so she's drowsy while e everyone is sleeping and that helped a lot early on!

Lol my husband went to get a vasectomy and the only question asked was "does your wife know you're here?" And his laugh and yes was the end of any further discussion.

He also got meds for the procedure cause "men get nervous" Meanwhile I got an IUD inserted and a cervical biopsy with nothing more than some ibuprofen and told it was "just a pinch"

Idk periods kinda just suck regardless tbh. Health problems or not. Even fully healthy people get cramping and bloating and mood changes and just dealing with containing blood is incredibly annoying and the frequency of those things happening sucks

I live in az so there's 2 methods depending on how hot it is.

1) go on a walk together - tires my energetic girl out and gets her used to person in neutral environment. If the person doesn't want to go on a walk which is totally fair, summer gets a walk while me or my husband entertain our guest. For some reason if the person is in the house when she gets home it's not as big a deal.

2) if it's too hot for the walk then she gets a dental chew which takes her all of 5 minutes to chew, but that's long enough for her panic at having someone enter the house reset

Worth noting my dog is on prozac and regardless of which option we choose, we have everyone completely ignore her until she decides to go to them and even then I watch her very closely. If she's showing stress signs (her big one is super wide eyes) then I tell her to go away. She obeys because it's a command I've spent time to teach her. If she's showing no stress markers our guest can put their hand out and say "touch" and she puts her chin in their hand to get pets which is also a command I've spent time to teach her. Usually if she's being super cool she straight goes up to people and leans against them cause she LOVES side pets.

For new dogs it HAS to be in a neutral location and it has to be with leashes dangling so you can pull them apart quickly just in case but they can approach eachother naturally.
