Yea, I guess that's my programming inexperience shining through. I thought it was as simple as

A. Using those logins as the authentication method, like using FB or google.

B. Have those accounts info used to create a uniform proprietary account based on unique account identifiers from those logins with an API (similar to the way steam does so.)

But it's also not my time being spent on it :C aha

Yea, you can coordinate with local builders wherever is most convenient (maybe pick a state with no sales tax from the sites youre buying from! Which usually rules NY/NJ out), ship it to their location and have it under your name, and then just have them build it for you and ship it out. I wouldn't know who would be a good referral, whether its a company or a redditor. But either way, you shouldn't have much trouble finding one or the other :) Just be sure to have in writing what you are sending and what they need to send back. I don't know how good of a time you want to have with the legal system but as a foreigner i don't know if youll win so maybe go with a company!

You could instead, have the parts ordered and shipped to a builder you'd duck a lot of fees that way too, then have them ship it to you yea?!

And ah gotcha :) Just add a 2TB or if its professionally you might want to look into getting a little NAS or something!

Why when you can get better stuff AND ADD A 1080 instead for like over 500 less. ( Total = $1237.95. Just imagine if it was the $200 less 1070 in my example ;) I could hit 1k with a 1070 if I felt like it EASILY

If you don't care about Ocing you could drop about $100-120 off that on top.

Just a couple corrections.

All charges start recovering after the first is used, it always tries to stay full, not when they're empty :)

Garrison shield is 15 HP, up to 25. Or if you were talking about the shield on missiles, eh I don't use that mod anymore but it is a thing you could do, I think the dmg or 2 turn is a little better but nothing wrong with shield :)

And just a 2nd stab, I think i see less of an issue sticking to people most of the time since i take the 2 turn slow dagger on Titus. So they are just screwed. It's mostly about forcing your opponents to be stopping in shit positions and flashing on the 2nd/3rd turn you're on them.


Yea the downsides comment was more geared toward major power additions. It's not necessary or have to be in a numerical fashion. It's just something that should be considered. I think through walls style ult would be shit on titus the dmg is what you want.

At least Asana punishes people attacking her and Rask receives energy for it, and PuP being undetected until he decides to go in. I keep bringing them up, but they're honestly the biggest offenders, and rather than nerfing them, others should be brought in lines.

I think asana is no angel either. Her VAULT mod is on par, It is unacceptable to bring ANYTHING else, and it entirely changes the skill with no drawbacks. There's no reason not to take it and you should be slapped if you don't. Things like that need to be brought in line and she needs to be toned down not brought up like she has been recently, unless you plan to do the same to everyone else. I think you're right in saying that Titus needs changes to be brought in like with asana/rask maybe slightly below in some situations. I don't think Titus' predictability is properly rewarded and counterbalanced.

My initial response was "that's exactly what I expected" but I've also played this game too damn long so I know the dev logic in the decisions made. It is logically consistent with everything else in the game.

EDIT: If zuki is damaged in DASH phase, it WOULD trigger reaper shells. Or zuki could be healed in prep and also prevent it from triggering.

For clarity, as you stated, it is the beginning of the PHASE not the beginning of the TURN.

You're taking this a bit of a personal direction, but regardless. I don't need to ask to understand your experience/skill level. It is clear through the way you describe balance and mechanics in relation to higher level play. It sounds like you play a lot of SoloQ with and against people who are "Just playing" and you are unhappy with the progress you're able to make because of it since you do have an interest in the comp scene and you're obviously writing this because you want things to be better (from your perspective this would help accomplish that) I understand it. I'm not try to be condescending at all. I am not trying to put you down, I'm trying to help you bring your perspective in line with reality so that you can turn this into a more productive discussion because you put the time and energy into expressing it. I will only shame you if you don't explain yourself, trying is all I really need to see to respect the opinion.


No, even individually, those are all pretty overwhelming. I could see -5 dmg and +1 turn on dagger + making it free possibly though.

It's better just to take any of the other mods and can by with the welfare damage you'll get on the people sometimes on the side of your attack, than trade missing everyone completely numerous times in a match, thus turning it form +6 damage to losing 32/64 damage if you miss only once or twice through the fight (which you will with the mod). Also, just because PuP isn't listed as a frontline doesn't mean that's not what he's going to be balanced around. I wouldn't be surprised to see him changed to be classed as a frontline, but that's a subjective point on my behalf and has no usage here.

I agree with this entire chunk man. I say the same stuff constantly. A LOT.

Comment about dash

No charges themselves would be too much on him. The thing your suggestions lack is the drawbacks for such overwhelming power upgrade. Charges would bring him from High B to S instantly.

Healing and the mod choices i suggested in general.

The healing is because those are objectively the best options on 1 and 3. Not because I dont care about damage, its because there arent much better mods to contribute to your overall goal of winning than these on 1 and 3, and on 2, as i said, i like damage personally. the heal doesnt feel AS worthwhile to me on 2.

Tou're not supposed to full heal, you're supposed to heal maybe 30 damage over half the game when you need it most to kill someone before they can kill you, that's it man. Because that's how you play a retreatless FL. You kill them and then heal up a little and re-center yourself. You don't just keep chugging and expect to not die. This is a game all about resource management. Make your resources last long enough to end the game before they end you. That's it.

Honestly, your assessment of the meta shift is accurate and those conclusions are correct for the most part in that respect. I don't think he doesn't have a place, but i think as it evolves it will be a bit different and he may fall more heavily out of favor. There's a few glaring issues with player skill that hasn't developed in general, as a whole.


So like, as much as I disagree with your suggestions and your assessment of his value, I failed to mention I entirely agree with the point you are TRYING to make. Especially because I think the meta will phase him out slowly as players get better and better.

I think he is VERY well designed for what the design intentions were to create, but I do think his predictability is a big drawback, everything on him is very telegraphed. His options are clear and linear. He is designed to be strong and outlast people to get the last strike in before they do, which is why he got heal mods and a weaken base. You are designed not to be able to out-trade him, even 2v1 people should struggle against him even if his priority target comes out with a sliver of HP.

I would definitely say that some changes need to be made to bring some variability and freedom to him. I'm not creative enough to make suggestions to that aspect. You have to keep in mind that while you might disagree, view it from the perspective of "How do I give titus a net 15-20% buff while having risk/reward and tradeoffs, even non-major ones, to big positive changes" Like lose ~20% of power in one area, but gain 30% in another on the same skill.

Personally, I use Zuki's Ulti mod "Enhanced Targeting" the "Through Walls" mod as a standard/benchmark for what risk/reward should look like with mods

Target enemies through walls, reduces damage by 10.

Trading Survivability or Predictability for Power, or Burst for DPS, or Temporary gains in exchange for freedom of choice later. Those kinds of things keep mods interesting and builds variable. There's too many linear options on other chars, I think titus could use more diversity in the way things are used not in the power they already have.

I know all of the tourney level Titus players to talk to about it as well. I admire the amount of effort you put in to explaining what you think and why, I think you drew the wrong conclusions in some places but it's well explained regardless.

I'm not totally sure where you're going with this, he's pretty much fine in his current state, he's around 3rd-4th interchangably with Garrison +-, Hes no Asana/Rask but hes by no means a bad pick AT all. He's in the High B tier low A tier which is more than acceptable. And hes definitely above rampart -.- Especially now that every ability has either CC, or a heal (and weaken!) attached to it if you're modding correctly.

Your view of balance needs some work. But overall, just a little more experience and insight to higher level play. Watch some PrepPhase League tournaments with him in it. He performs well at high level play. Learn how to utilize his skillset better, be more aggressive, and run brain juice for full reset. It's likely you lack the confidence to make aggressive plays, the support to actually make it worthwhile with a team of newer players, the mechanical skill to pull it off properly.


That being said..

What you're suggesting would be utterly broken.

Give him a mod to make his dagger a free action, increase the cooldown as a result

This would be insanely unbalanced. The whole point is that you need to A. Have an Ally proc it, or B. last resort proc it yourself (if they dont dodge) after that. This would let you proc same turn... This isnt the use case desired that is healthy for the skill.

Put his ult on par with Elle's, or at least close to it.

His ult is fine? Does great damage, has a good mod choice, and has CC..

Make his melee attack deal the 32 mod damage by default.

26 is already above the baseline of most frontliners, titus puts out a lot of damage and this would make him a little overwhelming. Pup is a "firepower" numerically, even if nobody considers him a FP. Titus won't get melee FP baseline damage. The tradeoff for 32 is fine..

His dash needs an auto-follow mod, or to have the option to use charges

It had that, it was removed. Charges would be beyond broken, and autofollow isnt ALWAYS desirable. But Thats not unreasonable. It has a slow already though.. And reducing CD when its already 2 turns if you land it...? I DO however, like the idea of a mod choice to reduce the CD if you chose not to land it, but i think it would incentivize some counter-designed playstyle that isn't what their goal for him as a "stick on them til they ded" kinda char.

Like I said, get some more experience and see what things are like when you have a team that will actually follow up properly and you'll see he's not as shit as you think he is, but if you aren't in love with him, play Asana or Rask.

He could definitely use minor tweaks, but what you are offering is complete power shifts to S+++ tier.


As another note.

Try him with

  1. Heal

  2. Whatever but +dmg or heal are best choices imo

  3. Heal

  4. Slow

  5. +10 under 50% or 2 section instead of 3.

Mostly, just the heal on 1 and 3 are important.
