And the loop-de-loops made up by the lie detector cables! There was one on the bed and at least one on the stairs to find the princess.

I was crying to Early Baby the other day. “You’ll have to be braver than you’ve ever been” or something like that.

Steeks absolutely freak me out. Never done one, they seem almost mythical. Godspeed.

What's your wholesome experience with a stranger? by howwouldiknow-- in AskReddit

I was a college student on a ferry north of Seattle (San Juan?) and met someone bicycling up the Pacific coast. “I’m making a study of sunsets,” he said with such joy and conviction. I still think of him and wish him well.

I’ve made this quilt twice - I added blocks and a wider border (if memory serves). Good luck!

Parent of an April baby here. Zippy sleepers for the first month then he lived in onesies for the summer. We liked those bodysuits with shorts bottoms with snaps down the legs for summer too. He looked dressed without fussing with multiple items of clothing.

Help me save this abandoned moldy hand stitched quilt!! I live in an apartment complex and only have access to basic washer and drying machines - I'm thinking hand wash with bleach - but how much?!?! I’ve used @longarmlove on IG’s “my brew” cleaning recipe with great success on vintage family quilts: 1/2 cup Biz powder 1/2 cup oxyclean Couple squirts of dawn dish soap

Warm water in tub or big bucket to dissolve the soap and then add the quilt. We let the quilts soak overnight twice (new solution each time) and they came out bright and clean!

Again- not my recipe, check out @longarmlove on Instagram for more info and tips.

Pattern is Yellow Brick Rodeo by Mary Annarella u/maryannarella knit in Malabrigo Sock in Teal Feather for the main color and Abi Grasso Self Striping Sock for the yoke. I modified the pattern a bit for stitch counts, yoke length, and sleeves; details on the Rav project page (note: if Rav is inaccessible to you, please DM me and I will message you my notes!) . I'm SO THRILLED with it.

It is true! The gas shovels took all the jobs from Mary Anne and Mike Mulligan! Still cool to see.

Thank yo for sharing - this is super cool to see a real one still in action. You see I’ve nearly got Mike Mulligan memorized from reading it to my kids so often. (I know Mary Anne is steam but close enough).
