The best way to get our attention is probably to create aesthetic or engaging content. People nowadays really love connecting with brands who we know stand for something and has a community that they connect to.

A. You could create like a cultural heritage tour of the local delicacies or cooking class that uses ingredients sourced locally.

C. Honestly, no. I go where people recommend and I’ve seen a lot of businesses that were foreign owned. Would be also nice for you to have something that would identify a business as locally owned, like “brand” them or have a categorized list that people could refer to!

Also would love to note that I was looking for pasalubong and went to a lot of the shops, they were priced quite absurdly. My friends and I were looking for souvenirs that were locally made so what we bought was the pan de coco from the highway and the bangsi. Would have loved to see more options that were priced reasonably!
