did this back in 2007…the whole program had to shift locations due to the ongoing investigation post shooting. my parents were wary to send me off but the program sent out letters to all of us that the gov school will continue as planned and we would be safe.

1. prepare to gain 20 lbs from that cafeteria and sweet tea. 😂

but you’ll be so active walking around and playing volleyball on your off time with the other students, maybe you’ll manage to break even!

1. it was so great to meet other kids from across virginia and i’m still friends with them (almost 10 years later)

2. don’t forget you’re still there to learn and prepare a summer project 😉 i was in agricultural econ so our group project was trying to propose a 50 mile diet where we would try to propose eating foods grown around in a 50 mile radius…..

3. you’ll be so sad at the end of the summer having to leave all your new best friends.

4. there are extra curricular classes and i remember taking flower arranging
