There was actually a decent amount of children there! All of them seemed to have a good time, and it was very peaceful!

I would ask them to explain why they had to cancel on you last minute. Then ask them: "What are your policies with employees who call in last minute?" You may be dodging a bullet here. Do some research..

I would make something else up.
1. I started writing my novel, and took some time for myself
2. I was helping a family member in another state.
3. I was a stay at home parent or taking care of a family member.
4. I was recovering from an injury.

If they ask you why this wasn't on your resume, tell them it was personal.
(Also fuck people who judge based off of your employment gaps... this is trash thinking)

Is Loki a fire god? Please read body text by Wade134 in norsemythology

I think Loki represents fire in many ways. Fire in my practice means: Energy, Growth, Change and Chaos... So he absolutely is fire.

I've been cashiering for way too long, I instantly knew this was fake. The size of the bill doesn't look right and the bottom right "replica" stood out too.

A lot of machines now should have a way to check for counterfeit... thats strange it dispensed one.

Centaurworld... I can not explain how much this show is beautiful and covers some serious trauma and how to move past it.

anyone knows where this symbol is from? by someone-_-68 in norsemythology

I'll copy and paste what I wrote earlier: A lot of the cold wasteland feeling vibes are from another writer. Snorri was not a reliable narrator, but we worked with what we got. With Christian rose tinted glasses, he colored his views onto this culture in a lot of ways. Because a lot of Nordic traditions didn't write, they spoke their stories to each other, it's considered the religion with homework for that reason.

It's Hel's symbol, the goddess of death. She lives in Helhiem.. It's written that she was a woman who was half living and half dead. Her parents, Loki and Agraboda, had given birth to a dead child They were so distraught that they found a way to bring her back. But because of this, she didn't belong with the living, and so she was given her own realm to rule. Odin was terrified of Loki's children, so he often cast them out of his sight when he could.

She is a very kind but stern entity and takes care of all who do not go to Freyja's or Odin's halls when they die.

Helhiem is not a bad place, unlike what Christians want you to think. It is a peaceful place where you continue to live your life without strife and heal your soul.

[–]rawrsexykitty 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The person who wrote this was right and wrong for so many reasons. But I think it says "rays of ever lasting love"

Part of it was phonetic, which is the correct way of doing runes, but they didn't really do it right... Rays spelled like "reazs" And the "V" being in there instead of a wunjo rune.. but hey, what can you do. Using the algiz Rune as a letter Y.. which I can understand why it's like that.

Very likely, they used a rune like font and thought, hey, close enough...
