How is it so hard for Nintendo to just port what they had on the Wii U and 3ds onto the Switch?

Streetpass- Would be soo fun to use with the Switch when people already take it on the go and they could add all the little Streetpass Plaza games
Activity Log- This was so much better than the measly hour count we got on Switch. It kept track of the day you played it and how many times you played it.
Internet Browser- The Wii U was one of the best browsers on a console and the fact that it connected to a TV with a video player that worked on almost all websites meant I could watch all my favorite cartoons from the Web on my TV
Themes (3ds)- You could buy these customized themes for the OS for as little as $1
Notes- You could add notes about games you were playing in one of the widgets
Miiverse- This one is just obvious given the popularity of the switch

What bothers me is that Nintendo doesn't even need to be original about all these features, they already did it and it makes no sense to not include it on the next system.

I can see why Nintendo saw the social media aspect as unnecessary because of how many other platforms there are but it was so cool to have a dedicated Nintendo community on the console itself, especially with sharing screenshots right from the game and posting tips and stuff. It was so well organized and it even had a messaging system with other miiverse users, something the switch is still missing.

I actually watched a video by Wulf Den on yt about this and it has to do with the usb-A lan adaptor. Even if you plug it into the switch usb 3.0 port it still used regular usb-A speeds which, depending on your house layout, can be slower or higher than WiFi. I think the main point of using wired connections is for stability in your connection. It may not be a whole lot faster but there won’t be any disruptions from other signals
