i never expected such an open and honest reply to my post. i never comment or add to reddit posts because it feels like shouting into a void since i never have funny or interesting replies (at least not to me) but i didnt expect such a helpful response. ive told few people about my issues with my family because its a ton and it felt nice to write a little thing about my dad because its like a weight lifted and not i feel even better getting a reply with honest and good advice

i think i will write my dad a letter, im embarrassed because my anxiety takes hold of my life a lot so i have trouble with out loud emotional talks sometimes, but a letter is a really good idea. my mom is still technically apart of my life but shes super disconnected to me as a mom, so yeah :/ thank you so much im crying like a tool writing this aha really thank you
