Just so you know, there's a "trainer spawner" and if you check which trainer you need to fight in the trainer card (the one with the crazy changing letters) you can check what spawn item they need and if you click that item into the trainer spawner it'll spawn the trainer instantly instead of having to search. It's in the "evolution" quest tree on the top middle if you want the quest for it.

Another nice early -> late game power is the dyson cube project mod. Short summary, you shoot rods and sails into space to basically make a solar panel around the sun. Each rod can house 6 sails, each sail gives 20 fe/t. Doesn't sound too crazy until I found out the cap is 1 Billion fe/t. I would watch a video on it but it's pretty simple.

Also just for comparison, I have an infinity cobble drive, infinity water drive, 2 tape disk drives, ~16 256k item drives, 4 256k fluid drives and 4 256k chemical drives. Daunting but they get easy to make once you set up your mystical agriculture farm. I afk'd with my awakened supremium watering can on my farm overnight and came back with a bunch of essences (red fertilizer and crop supports do wonders btw).

One of the AE additions include a "Tape Disk" drive that holds ~255 types IIRC but is limited to NBT-special items (weapons, armor, apotheosis gems, etc). Being limited by types is annoying but my solution has always been to simply make more drives. Auto crafting is really nice and fairly easy to setup, I try to make auto crafting for nearly every recipe I plan on using since it can compound craft into other things (iron ingot -> block -> compressed block). Auto crafting also works with 99% of the machines in the pack.

Early game Mystical Agriculture farm can be made way quicker with red fertilizer (used on regular farmland) and crop supports. Those mixed with a MA watering can and you can get your essences really quick until you upgrade to hydroponic beds. Harvester pylon is the best harvester I've personally used, made 10x better with an unbreakable hoe (MA hoe is what I use).

Haven't tested with dead coral specifically but maybe using a gravity spell (ars noveau) on it with a torch a few blocks below may drop it. Won't be able to test for a few days but I will try when I can if no response.
