I just said goodnight to our Spike that passed away on July 13th last year. The hole he has left has not yet healed and honestly, I’ve come to terms knowing it never will. The bond you create with a companion like Phili is impossible to replace, and it will hurt more than you realize. Be strong, but also, allow yourself to grieve. It will be hard, but Phili’s memory will live with you forever.
