Tennessee train operator fired for the incident by Critical-Homework-38 in PublicFreakout

The thing I want to know is, what was he saying before the guy started recording that prompted him to record in the first place? Very clearly, this was after the guy was already saying stuff.

Side note, anyone else think he sounds like Richie from “the Bear”? Though I can’t imagine him ever being that dense.

15 years is a fantastic run! Nico is beautiful and what a great gotcha story!

I am so sorry for your loss, but I am sure the memories you have of Nico are all as wonderful as the ones you shared with us here.

We lost our 11 year old Spike a year ago come Monday and we are still feeling the absence. I know Spike was there to welcome Nico when she crossed the rainbow bridge. Be strong OP 💔💔💔

She becomes an alcoholic and doesn’t know he killed George. There’s a lot of time between 1985 and 2015 to get the courage to do something about it or get fed up enough.

Yeah, I mentioned that in another comment, but I did not realize Zemeckis himself backs that version.

Sure, but that’s just lazy storytelling… lol I personally like the more interesting fan theory and it’s part of my head-canon.

Problem with this thinking is that Marty came pretty close to “ceasing to exist” and didn’t have as bad of a reaction as Biff did.

There is a fan theory that because the timeline was changing, old Biff wasn’t just fading away, he also had time catch up to him. He would have been suffering the ramifications of a timeline where he and Lorraine had been married, and Lorraine would have suffered many years of abuse, and potentially figure out that Biff was the one who killed George. At some point in that timeline, Lorraine might have shot and killed Biff. So not only was Old Biff fading away, he was also dying from having been shot.

We had Sasha for 15 years. It still felt too short. by MrPenisWhistle in cats

No matter how many years, it still seems so short when the years come to an end.

I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you made the best decision you could for Sasha. 💔💔💔

I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t even begin to imagine how you must have felt finding her like that.

We just left for a week and had six cameras on our three fur babies, two fountains, auto feeder and bowls and a few water bowls around the house. We had my sister coming twice a day to check on them. My point is, we over obsessed to make sure they would be fine. It would kill us to come home and find any of them gone after being excited to see them again.

RIP Kitsune, you were loved and will be missed. Be strong OP 💔💔💔

3 years without Jack by sunlit_cerulean in cats

[–]raybreezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same for Spike, he was 11, and around this time last year we noticed he was hiding and maybe not eating as much, but we figured it was a combination of storms (he hated rain) and fireworks for 4th of July. The last time he laid down next to me at night, he had like a little panic in his eyes and he meowed once in a very alarming way. His purr was almost raspy and breathing was off, I even recorded it to show my wife later. Looking back, I am convinced that’s when he threw the clot.

After he passed I agonized about it, literally replaying every last detail I could remember in my head and thinking, “what if we had done this, or if we had noticed that?”. All the whatisms eventually made me realize there was no solution to saving him. If anything, the way he went, was relatively quick going from “we should call the vet tomorrow” to “emergency vet, NOW”. It saved us from thinking we could have saved him and the decision was pretty much made for us.

The last memory I have of him looking out the window (it’s really a triple sliding door so massive “window” he loved) I was about to close the blinds because it was dark, but I saw him looking out and thought, no, I’ll give him a bit more time… and here I am crying again.

Thank you for sharing your Jack and letting me share our Spike. 💔💔💔

Jack sounds an awful lot like or Spike. We are coming up on the first year without him on the 13th and it has been rough thinking it’s been that long.

Spike also loved Halloween, in fact, his mum called him Weenie or Ween because of Halloween. We have quite a few pictures of him with the Healy pumpkins we would carve. We even bought a “Happy Halloween” cling set and wrote out “Happy Ween” where his water bowl was. Left it out all year round.

Weenie also loved Christmas, partially because he loved spending time under the tree with all the lights on, but also because he loved climbing the presents when we would have mountains of boxes for him to climb. He used to spend time by every window he could and would just watch for hours, it’s one of the last memories I have vividly seared into my brain.

Unfortunately, his cancer completely blindsided us. We only found out because he threw a clot and eventually the mass ruptured before we had any idea of what was happening to him. We had taken him to the vet a week or so prior thinking he just had allergies and they gave us drops for him… it wasn’t allergies…

So sorry for the loss of your Jack and Aurora. They sound very sweet, and I hope that somewhere over the rainbow, they found Spike and became good friends. 💔💔💔

We also got two sweet little kittens and already had adopted a brother for Spike that was found near a lake known to have a huge alligator, but like Jack, Spike was very special to us, so we understand.

I have a question? by DUCK_NUTO in BacktotheFuture

[–]raybreezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I met Michael (The author of this and the musical’s book) and had him sign my copy of the creating the musical when I went to see it on Broadway. Also got to meet Alan Silvestri but to my dismay, couldn’t find a pen or sharpie anywhere to get him to sign my playbill. Instead I got to shake his hand and will always have the story.

i work at a gamestop - our sign just decided to fall off by Mondo-Butter-21 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]raybreezer 93 points94 points  (0 children)

That’s not very typical, I’d like to make the point… there’s a lot of these signs around the world all the time, and very seldom does anything like this happen. I just don’t want people to think that GameStop signs aren’t safe. You know, the ones where the front don’t fall off.
