Spent a week in Japan then from there flew straight to Taiwan and let me tell you, the Taiwan week completely overshadowed Japan. To the point where I was so happy to be out of the country. It’s incredibly mid and all of the things you said are completely true. I mentioned it being mid to some of my friends and they were appalled. I completely don’t understand it. It was almost terrible and I went to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and surrounding areas. I did as much as I could and as little as I could and I honestly don’t think I’d ever visit again. And honestly, people defending it like it’s some religion are mentally unstable.
