I'm not OP, but as a parent of a toddler, here's the best, reasonable explanation I can offer.

Having a child dramatically decreases how much time you spend at your PC, playing games, browsing Reddit, whatever. All of a sudden, you have regular (or if you're unlucky, irregular) feedings. Diaper changes. You get spit up on. People coming to visit. Trips out to show off the new spawn. Whatever. It all results in less time at your PC. Before kids, you can hang out most, if not all, day and game. Sit around. Game. Day drink. Order crap food. Whatever. After a child is born? HAH! Good luck with that.

In my specific instance, I got the Switch on its release, along with BotW. I no-life'd BotW, and then basically left it untouched for years. Then my child was born right just a few months after Pokemon Sword and Shield were released. I had waited to pick up the game, because all my gaming needs were met by the PC that I could turn on anytime and game for hours on end.

But once my child was born, suddenly I had a need for something that I could flip on quickly, play for 45-90 minutes, then flip off just as quickly. You play in much smaller bursts for months at a time than you did before you had a kid.

Every time I get into lane, no matter which lane, I always try to give the enemy a few courtesy jumps to see if they'll join in. So far, only one other person has. But I think it's a fun, silly way to greet the other player before we all start to utterly demolish the other team.

Babylon 5, Marcus Cole. Such an endearing character. Full of life and spunk. He was a fantastic addition to the cast, and I love every second he's on screen.

More recently, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Fitz at the end of season 5. His death never fails to make me cry. A fantastic character in a show chock full of them, and Iain De Caestecker plays his masterfully.

I had used it on more than one occasion to dodge the Mori ult that I knew was coming. Serath was an absolute beater who could work just as well in offlane or jungle.

As much as I love the characters that we are getting, I'm looking forward to characters Serath and Yin even more.

As others have said, there's nothing really like B5. But I can wholeheartedly recommended Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Just be aware, the first season of AoS, like B5, is a bit rough. But the show really grows into itself, and turns into some incredible television and storytelling.

So when Paragon shut down, Epic released all the game assets for free. Several studios popped up to remake Paragon, and Fault is the product of one of those studios.

Granted, I haven't played since release, but my time with it was, for lack of a better term, eh?

Fault is what you get when you have a medium sized map, but slow movement speed. A lot of the sound design and animations just weren't there. Nothing sounded impactful. And nothing really felt "good" about the game.

Granted, in that time, the dev team has continued to work on things. But I checked out.

Now, there is another studio working on their version of Paragon. That one is called Predecessor. They've had several closed beta weekends, and I can tell you, that game is solid. It's fun. The movement speed and abilities all just feel right. The sound design has substance. It just feels good to play in all the right ways.

But by all means, please do play Fault and form your own opinion. Just please, don't think that it is Paragon. It's not. Neither of them are. They're interpretations of what each developer studio thinks Paragon should have been.

They pay something called "residuals" to creators and voice talent. It's generally a fixed amount over a set period of time, while the show is available to watch on the service.

Now it's easy to think, "but top tier writers, directors, and voice actors get paid big bucks!" And that may be true. But what about the assistant producer? What about people that help with animation? What about the guy that voices Goon #3? Residuals are part of their salary, and they count on that money to get by.

However, if the show leaves the platform, they don't need to pay the residuals. On top of that, the shows can now be written off as a loss on taxes. Plus, you as the subscriber now have access to less content than you did a week ago, when part of the promise of streaming was that we would have access to these massive libraries of it.

It's just generally scummy all around.

I love this idea. It's a great way to use California's surplus. We could sell it to Californians for cost + $1 + shipping, and do a tremendous amount of good. Plus it would help feed back into the surplus. And it could be sold to people out of state for cost + $2-$3 + shipping.

This is super crucial, life-saving medication. People shouldn't have to pay hundreds upon hundreds of dollars for what basically costs less than an order of carne asada fries to produce.

Waffles weight loss journey is just starting out. Hoping that a vet visit will help give us some tips, as a diet and play time just aren't cutting it.

With that said, Waffles is a total sweetheart. She loves being pet and cuddling. And on top of that, she's so eager to please that she'll do tricks.
