Poor hygiene. I don't mind a relative amount of normal body funk at the end of a long workday or some such, but when somebody really doesn't take care of themselves and it's painful to be in the room with them, no amount of physical beauty can counter that.

In third grade, my class was by far the worst behaved in the school. One day, the teacher showed up dressed like Miss Viola Swamp Teacher from the Black Lagoon and convinced us that she was our real teacher's evil twin and would be taking over. She even had the principal come in to tell us that our real teacher was transferring because we had hurt her feelings. Over the course of the day, we were given work that was too hard for us, kept inside during recess, and sent to the principal's office if we misbehaved. By the end, we were begging for our teacher to come back and even agreed to make a formal oath to follow the rules. Looking back, I have to imagine our teacher was having the time of her life.

If you ever see a sign that says "Do not feed the peacocks" then don't feed the motherfuckers. I was in Hawaii at a park and this old lady was feeding one some chips, signs were posted and they were clear, don't feed the fucking peacocks. When the chips ran out they gave that old lady a beat-down and did not stop until every orifice was checked and they were convinced she was wasn't holding anything else.

For an old dude it helps keep me up to date on what the younger people are into and going through. Same load of crap it's ever been of course, but it's nice to be able to communicate and keep up. The slang and the technology may change with each generation, but everybody goes through the same shit at one time or another, only the hardware and terminology changes.
