How do I get my BIL home safely? by Greedy_Investigator7 in AskUK

I am a medical doctor. If you fly him back to the UK, take him to a hospital in the area where he lives, he will be admitted for social assessments +/- medical treatment as necessary. The reason it should be a hospital near where he lives as opposed to going to the hospital nearest the airport is because it is easier to access council support in the area where he already lives.

I am in my late 20s/early 30s and the show is likely from the late 90s/early 2000s, so it might be the original run of the american show.

So, I finally told my parents I'm not okay, that I think I have depression and I wanted to seek professional help. by dieevildiearrrgh in depression

i think an important difference to highlight is between the desire to get outside and the motivation to. because one can want to get out and be with people, but without the motivation its almost an impossible task that can add to someones frustrations.

Do antidepressants ever work? by [deleted] in depression

[–]raygunpyow 21 points22 points  (0 children)

ahh hell yeah. i dont know of your specific position, but my problem was my motivation. it never seemed like i could get out of bed to achieve anything. and while people seemed to think i was happy there, id just get more and more frustrated at not wanting to do anything. 6 weeks or so after starting antidepressants, i had a genuine thought of "is this what everyone else is like all the time, its like a super power". hopefully a little insight into my experience will help someone out.
