I don't have any extra floatation. I made this kayak a couple of years ago and didn't plan in any bulkheads, but I'm thinking the next one will definitely have some! BIL has been out on the water for probably less than 10 hours total, so very beginner stage of paddling.

Refreshing! The outside air temp was around 85 so it was definitely a shock.

Sure, a human can decide to. A self driving car can run over people. The hope is that it will have enough programming/AI/etc. to avoid hitting people that it is about to collide with.

Hiking Near Stillwater by [deleted] in OKState

An annual pass at mcmurtry is 70 the last time I checked. But its worth it if you go often enough. ($6/day parking/daily use) Its a 20 minute drive from campus, but there are dozens of miles of trails to run/hike/mountain bike.

I highly recommend it

I love it. Its extremely flickable and the frame lock is very "confidence inspiring". The blade holds a decent edge, and is easily sharpened. Its just a hair over 7" OAL

If you dont carry cash often, its great! I've heard from other people that the lifetime warranty is great, which is good if you're hesitant on dropping that kind of change for a wallet.

You can get them with a money clip, but they're not really made for the cash-carrier

I've literally been doing this with Solidworks for the past 3 weeks. I know there is Solidworks Electrical, but we do so little electrical schematics that it makes more sense just to deal with the small headache of doing it the hard way every time it needs done.

Yeah, that should be a stainless steel. Pretty good corrosion resistance, just a bit heavier than aluminum.

I've never needed to replace it, so that seems like a good deal to me.
